Infinity pool in a rice field valley ☀️

#balitrip Pondok Sebatu Villa ranks high on my list of Top Resorts/Villas in Bali, and not just in Ubud. A special place in a quiet village (Desa Sebatu) against a valley of cascading rice fields, it's perfect to have some peace after a week of partying/exploring. It's 10 mins by motorbike from Ubud centre. The resort offers 7 room types. I stayed at the 2-bedroom pool villa, and it was fabulous. The villa consists of 2 adjoining recycled wooden huts, refurbished tastefully into modern "cabins". The bathrooms came with tubs, but the highlight was the infinity pool overlooking the steep valley of rice fields. It was breathtaking. From sunrise to sunset, there was no shortage of stunning views. It was so relaxing and therapeutic to look at the lush greenery, to listen to the sound of nature and wildlife, and to enjoy the breeze. Overall, I highly recommend this resort to those seeking to escape the hectic side of Bali. It's a beautiful place with fun activities and great food options. Tip: Not suitable for those with mobility issues. Lots of stairs/steep slopes.
