On arrival we were warmly welcomed with that truly Balinese generosity of spirit and each and every day we were greeted the same. “Selemat Pagi” followed by a delicious breakfast, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, great coffee, hearty meals like the Black bun breakfast burger, Corn fritters or healthy Dragonfruit bowl, amazing & all quality produce, served by the friendliest of Staff you can imagine. You soon find a kind and cautious “in-house” driver to venture you about, even as a free service around Seminyak or to the airport. You’ll discover courteous and ever smiling Staff to clean your villa or attend your pool. You’ll be met by attentive and happy Receptionists who will do all they can to make you feel at home and everyone wants to help you learn Bahasa, and you get to know everyone The beach is only minutes away and you can be escorted there eagerly by a Staff member or if by day meander down a narrow lane to either their Club or an array of seaside bars ... However, you quickly realise there’s something else here, an essence of something special, a secret that is “Samaja Villas” ... it’s people ... and you eventually become family ... I have rarely experienced this and when it happens to you, you are made better; altered to become the same ... and that is something you just can’t buy ...
