Suzhou's local customs and folklore - Suzhou Folk Museum

The Suzhou Folk Museum, a professional museum dedicated to exhibiting traditional local customs of Suzhou, is located in an ancient residence on the east side of the Lion Grove Garden, a classical garden in Suzhou. The southern part was originally the Bei family ancestral hall and residence, while the northern part was the Wang family ancestral hall. Entering through the southern gate, there are displays of seasonal customs, auspicious culture, and child-rearing customs. Passing through the alley into the northern part, there are displays of seasonal customs, Wu songs, and folk crafts. Through this, one can understand the evolution of Suzhou's local customs and folklore.
