Panagbenga Festival, Baguio City

It was our first time to come here and witness how beautiful their floats decorated with full of different kinds of flowers. On late february until early march. Baguio City, about 6 hours drive from the capital city of the philippines(Manila), celebrates the Panagbenga or flower festival annually. Featuring the best fresh harvested flowers of benguet decorated on floats capture the tourists attention. Opening the festival is the float parade with the best drum and bugle corps of the city. After the parade comes a week of what they call "Session Road in Bloom" where entrepreneurs from around the Philippines gather in Session road to have their goods displayed for sale. Known musicians play along the road or in Melvin Jones park located at Burnham park. Flowers and handicrafts so captivating that you just want to buy them all (if only i have enough money with me). Everything in the City during this season is so overwhelming that you feel refreshed after a great day of beautiful and fragrant flowers around.
