Temples for Days

#summervacay Bagan is just... wild. You roll up and suddenly there are temples literally everywhere. Like, thousands of them. It’s in the Mandalay Region, and it feels like you’ve time-traveled back a few centuries. I rented an e-bike (because walking here would be a whole mission) and just zipped around checking out random pagodas, climbing a few, and watching the golden light hit the ancient bricks. It’s a total dream. Some of the temples are big and famous, others are tiny and hidden, and that’s the best part. You just explore and stumble upon cool stuff all day. Sunsets? Unreal. Sunrises? Even better if you’re up for the early grind. Hot air balloons floating over the plains in the morning light? Straight-up magical. Honestly, the whole area feels sacred but also super chill. No rush, no pressure. Just you, a dusty path, and some seriously epic history. If you’re in Myanmar, Bagan is a must. No debate.
