Mirabell Palace in Salzburg

The historic Mirabell Palace, located in Salzburg, Austria, boasts a long history. Although the palace was renovated and restored in a neoclassical style, its famous interior decorations are exquisite examples of Baroque architecture. This location is also a famous filming site for the song 'Do Re Mi' from the movie 'The Sound of Music'! Due to limited time, we stayed here for less than half an hour. We mainly explored the park to see the scenes from the movie (there should be signposts nearby...), and later walked around the palace building. However, there wasn't much to see inside! There's no need to spend extra time looking for an entrance or stairs to go up. Just passing by for a visit is enough!
