Austria is a Central European country known for its beautiful scenery and classical music.

When it comes to Austria, one naturally thinks of its capital Vienna, and the Golden Hall in Vienna, with the sound of Mozart's "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" variations and Strauss's "Blue Danube" echoing in one's ears. Vienna, here is the gathering place of European culture and art, and the rich classical music and art atmosphere blooms in numerous opera houses and concert halls. At street corners, you can always encounter romantic performances by artists. Few cities in the world are as easy to wander between the present and the past as Vienna, where the grand history and vibrant future intersect. The center of the city is the ancient dynasty, and the emerging urban attractions extend outward. Vienna has many attractions and is very concentrated, mostly in the inner city area. The Ring Road gathers various churches, museums, galleries, theaters and other attractions on both sides. The National Opera House and the Golden Hall represent the ceiling of world music. The Vienna Art History Museum is an encyclopedia of global art, and the Hofburg Palace, which is so large that it is not sold at the ticket office, the St. Stephen's Cathedral, which is famous all over the world and symbolizes Vienna, and other attractions such as the Karlskirche, National Library, and City Hall, have achieved a change of scenery. Let's introduce the Schönbrunn Palace in particular, which is the royal hunting palace and also the summer palace. It was once the imperial official of the Roman Empire, the Austrian Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the Habsburg dynasty. It is the filming location of "Sissi", but the tour guide introduced that Sissi actually did not live here for a long time due to various reasons such as her physical condition, and often traveled. When it comes to Austria, many people's first reaction is to think of the most beautiful town of Hallstatt. In fact, there are far more than just this one beautiful town here. Today, follow my footsteps to explore 6 extremely characteristic Austrian towns! 1. Closest to nature: Mondsee town with its Moon Lake. The church at Moon Lake is the wedding hall where Maria got married, with a simple appearance. Without ostentation, the luxurious interior decoration is stunning. No wonder the sound of music chose to shoot wedding scenes here. Facing the flowing beauty of Moon Lake, even if you do nothing but stare blankly, it is still an infinitely pleasant enjoyment. This is a place with little fame and few tourists, but it is definitely a paradise on earth. Sit by the lake with a cup of coffee and enjoy the tranquility all day long, and you will not feel tired. 2. Most Artistic: Salzburg Here is the birthplace of Mozart. Mirabell Garden was built by Archbishop Wolf Dietrich for his lover, with beautiful flowers and fountains. Maria and the children from "The Sound of Music" danced around the fountain. It faces Salzburg Castle to the south. The Makartsteg Bridge is covered in love locks. Salzburg Fortress is a must-visit in Salzburg! It is one of the largest medieval castles in Europe, built gradually by successive archbishops since 1077. In 1515, a cable car for transporting goods was built, possibly the oldest cable car in the world. At dusk, climb up to the castle and enjoy the panoramic view of the city while enjoying dinner and watching the sunset. 3. The Most Sacred: Melchizedek The town of Melk is famous for its magnificent Melk Abbey, which is a pure Baroque style building, extremely gorgeous and extravagant. The abbey is located on a high hill by the Danube River, with its bright yellow exterior walls shining brightly, and its interior decoration is even more magnificent. The church exterior scenes in the movie "The Sound of Music" were filmed here. The abbey also has one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, with a rich collection of countless medieval manuscripts, and has high cultural and academic value. The almond liqueur in the town is also famous, so don't forget to bring a bottle if you like wine tasting. 4. Most Romantic: Dürnstein Located in the Wachau Valley, Dürnstein is known as the most romantic town in the area. The whole town is colorful and full of blooming flowers, walking on the streets will give you the illusion of traveling back to the Middle Ages. The most iconic buildings are the blue and white church standing among a sea of red roofs and the castle ruins on the distant mountaintop. 5. Lake and mountain scenery - St. Wolfgang Here, not only can you take a cruise and take a glimpse of the entire Schafberg mountain on a small train, but you can also hike up the mountain to experience the natural scenery. The cruise offers different types of boats to choose from, with one departing every hour, making it very convenient. The Schafbergbahn cog railway is recommended for the small train, with manual switches and gates, and it is one of the filming locations for "The Sound of Music". It is the steepest railway in Austria, with many beautiful views along the way. When you reach the summit, you can overlook Lake St. Wolfgang, like a shining green gemstone. 6. Shangri-La - Hallstatt "Postcard from Heaven" #Hallstatt, the oldest town in Austria, was listed as a world cultural heritage site by UNESCO in 1997. This small town with only 1000 inhabitants is nestled among mountains and waters, and the quaint wooden houses are distributed around the pointed church. Suddenly, one day, it became popular on INS and became a popular destination in the Salzkammergut region. The "Halr" of Hallstatt comes from the ancient Celtic word for "salt". The town's history can be traced back to the Celtic period thousands of years ago, when people were attracted here by the rich salt mines and settled here. It is one of the most photogenic attractions in Austria. Surrounded by majestic mountains and sparkling water, it is easy to understand why this charming village has captured the hearts of so many photographers. The picturesque environment is like a fairy tale; the colorful 16th century houses are even more so.
