Overcast Weather Around Auckland City

It seems Auckland has entered a period of unpredictable weather, sometimes experiencing two or three rain showers in a day, and other times being partly cloudy and partly sunny. However, for public transportation travel, heading to the Auckland Art Gallery｜Albert Park｜Mt Eden on an overcast day should be the best choice for city residents. 🖼️ Auckland Art Gallery The M floor features the Maori exhibition + the 1st floor houses The Robertson Gift (P2: It is said that this American couple decided to donate their collection after seeing the beautiful scenery of New Zealand) and exhibitions of famous artists like Monet and Picasso. Most visitors gather for photos next to Monet’s The Japanese Bridge (P4). Compared to the M floor, the 1st floor is especially popular. Exiting from the 1st floor down to the mezzanine, you will pass an oil painting exhibition. After wandering around for two hours, the most impressive part was the corridor on the M floor showcasing dolphin rescue. If you happened to watch Planet Earth III S3 EP04, you would feel more connected to this scene. *By the way, don’t you think the arrangement on P1 looks like a stone sculpture staring at the people in the oil painting? 🌳 The 20-Minute Effect of Albert Park Like many city parks, Albert Park also carries the important role of healing people, but with a more relaxed vibe thanks to the birds. If you don’t need to take photos, Albert under the cloudy sky is perfect for zoning out. The park’s 20-minute effect is achieved just by sitting. ⛰️ Mt Eden Actually, navigating to Friend & Whau Cafe is the quickest way up the mountain. When arriving at the entrance, the clouds were just blown away, and the sky suddenly turned blue. So, biking along the winding path, you can enjoy many scenic views along the way (and a silly little bird). From the summit, you can overlook the entire Auckland, but the best spot is still sitting on a bench with a cup of yogurt, enjoying the breeze. The tomato meatballs are indeed special. Their pizza is probably more famous, with customers coming every few minutes to take away pizza. *Also, after mistakenly bringing the UK plug, I finally bought a very suitable adapter at Green Supermarket. PB Tech was sold out (do so many people forget to bring theirs?), and I politely declined the 35.99 NZD Bull plug at Furun (won’t come back next time).
