"Okaminato Shrine" 12-48 Sendomachi, Ashiya-machi, Onga-gun, Fukuoka 093-223-0216 This shrine boasts a history of 1800 years. It is a historic shrine that is also mentioned in the Kojiki. In the precincts, many pure white flowering Nanjamonja trees, commonly known as Futatsubatago, are in full bloom. The best time to see them is from mid-April to early May, and the shrine is bustling with many tourists and worshippers. The "Kou Momo" peach stone monument is also adorable, and everyone was stroking it.
