Tochigi🇯🇵 Hōōji Temple

The 40,000 square meter area is planned in a square shape and surrounded by circular earth ramparts and moats, maintaining the characteristics of a samurai residence from the Kamakura period. In 1923, it was designated as a national historic site as the "Ashikaga Family Residence," and the main hall, bell tower, and sutra hall are national important cultural properties.
