Arxan, rated as the most beautiful autumn scenery in China by National Geographic, is absolutely stunning in summer too!

Returning to Arxan from Manzhouli, you enter the Daxing'anling Range as soon as you enter Arxan, and the scenery is always on the road. (When you see a gas station with half a tank of fuel along the way, fill up as there are not many gas stations) · ⚠️ Set your navigation to Chaihe in Arxan, you will pass by the ticket office of Arxan Forest Park. You don't need to buy a ticket, just go ahead and a staff member will come to register and ask where you are going. Just explain that you are going to Chaihe and you can drive into the scenic area. · The staff will ask you to sign a fire prevention and no unauthorized entry into the fee-based scenic area form, and then you will be allowed to pass. (Don't worry, going to Chaihe is a necessary route through the scenic area), then navigate to Budong River Viewing Platform (this is a free viewing platform). · Drive a few kilometers ahead, and the terrain features along the way are within the park. When you see a gate with the sign 'National Forest Park' on the left, turn left to enter. You can get off at the Budong River Viewing Platform to explore (do not climb over the railing to go down to the river. After crossing the bridge, you will see the Tianchi Grand Hotel sign where you can park and walk down the slope to play by the Budong River). · Then return and keep going forward, you will see Shitanglin (no need to enter the scenic spot, the volcanic rock landform is right by the roadside), then navigate to Dujuan Lake, you can see the lake along the way, and there are small paths to walk in (if there are few cars, you can park and walk in to take a look, but it's just a lake). · Then turn back and do not go forward, ahead is a separate scenic spot with a paid parking lot. Then navigate to the Grand Canyon, which is a ticketed scenic spot, you can see it from the roadside and take photos but cannot go down. (After the Grand Canyon is the Moa Highway) It is not recommended to drive further, the road is not easy to drive and the scenery is not particularly beautiful. · Return and navigate to the Deer Park 🦌, where you can accompany children to feed the deer, 🈚️ no entrance fee, 50/ bucket 🥕.
