Appenzell, a charming town in the Alps

The 11th city on our self-guided tour of Switzerland with my son is Appenzell, a charming town located at the foot of the Alps. The main reason for coming to this small town is to take a cable car in this town to get to Aescher Hotel, a hotel located on the cliff. Fortunately, I decided to visit this small town first, otherwise I would definitely regret it. The characteristic of this town is that the walls of the houses are painted in colorful colors. My son and I fell in love with this lovely town as soon as we got off the train and stepped into the town. The rich aroma of the freshly baked cheese and vegetable pie from the town's bakery made us want to buy a piece.
