Appenzell, a rustic Swiss town

Appenzell has a small population of only about 7,000 people, and people live a leisurely and elegant life in this village. The village preserves traditional customs and festivals such as the autumn cattle parade; a museum introducing the history and culture of the area is located in the town hall. Cars are not allowed to enter the town. The elegant streets, houses with beautifully painted exteriors and small shops hung with colorful decorations, form a perfect small town scene.
