The Anyang Yin Ruins Museum's collection is dazzling

The Anyang Yin Ruins, a name that resounds through the history of Chinese archaeology, celebrated the grand opening of its new museum this February. It brings together a multitude of high-tech elements to display both new and old relics in a stunning manner. The new museum was designed by Academician He Jingtang of South China University of Technology. The building is shaped like an ancient tripod, with the characters for 'Great City of Shang' inscribed in oracle bone script above the entrance. Its exterior is a bronze curtain wall, highlighting bronze ware and oracle bone inscriptions as symbols of the Shang Dynasty civilization. The museum is packed with information, ranging from the brutal chariots and human sacrifice pits to the divination inscriptions on turtle shells and animal bones, and even the famous bronze artifacts unearthed from the tombs of King Wu Ding and Lady Fu Hao. Without proper study, it's hard to fully grasp. However, when we have a bowl of oracle bone script noodles at the museum or visit a restroom marked with oracle bone script, it feels as though we're integrating this profound history into our daily lives.
