Changbai Mountain's Heavenly Lake

I am deeply grateful to have had the chance to visit Changbai Mountain and see the frozen Heavenly Lake with a group of good friends during this trip! According to the tour guide, there are only about one-third of the days in a year when visitors can go up the mountain to see the lake, as the road leading to it is often closed due to weather conditions. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hot Spring Hotel located at the foot of the mountain within the park. What stood out to me the most was the hotel's outdoor hot springs. There are numerous pools for soaking, and they are well-maintained, clean, and regularly patrolled by staff. After a full day of hiking, soaking in the hot spring water is incredibly relaxing!
