Planning a trip to Qianshan Mountain but don't know where to start? This comprehensive guide will make your Qianshan adventure easy and enjoyable! I. Essential Information - Opening Hours: From April 1 to October 31, the park is open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. These months offer longer daylight hours, allowing you to fully explore the beauty of Qianshan. From November 1 to March 31, the park is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please note the adjusted schedule for winter visits. - Ticket Prices: During peak season (April 1 - October 31), tickets are CNY 80 per person. During the off-season (November 1 - March 31), tickets are CNY 60 per person. Certain groups, such as students and seniors, are eligible for discounts or free admission. Remember to bring valid identification. Additionally, the sightseeing bus costs CNY 15 per person, providing convenient transportation within the scenic area. The cable car costs CNY 50 per person for a one-way trip, offering a less strenuous way to enjoy the scenery. II. Transportation Guide - Public Transportation: - From Anshan Railway Station, take bus No. 8 directly across the street from the station. This is a convenient and direct route to Qianshan Scenic Area. - From Anshan West Railway Station, take bus No. 605 to Taipingcun Station, then transfer to bus No. 8 and get off at Qianshan Station. - Self-driving: If you are driving, take the Shenyang Ring Expressway to the Shenyang-Dalian Expressway. Exit at the Anshan exit, then follow Qianshan West Road and Qianshan Middle Road to reach Qianshan. III. Recommended Routes - Religious and Cultural Route: Starting from the main entrance of Qianshan, visit the God of Wealth Temple, Wuliang Temple, Longquan Temple, and Five Buddhas Peak in order. This route immerses you in the rich religious atmosphere of Qianshan, allowing you to admire the ancient architecture and experience the blend of history and faith. - Natural Scenery Route: Also starting from the main entrance, this route passes by Mingtan, Feilong Bridge, Yuntan Cave, Goddess Peak, and finally reaches Tianshangtian. This route allows you to fully appreciate the natural beauty of Qianshan, including its unique peaks, rocks, streams, and waterfalls. On my last visit, I chose the route from the God of Wealth Temple to West Pavilion, One-Line Sky, Tianshangtian, and Wuliang Temple, skipping Five Buddhas Peak. During the descent, I avoided Jiabianshi due to snow accumulation for safety reasons. Also, the Tianshangtian cable car and public restrooms were closed at that time. Fortunately, the steps were mostly clear of snow, so walking with the elderly and children wasn't too tiring.
