We drove there and parked at the North Gate North Parking Lot. There is a shuttle bus from the North Gate North Parking Lot to the boat dock, which costs 3$ per person. This stretch of road is about 800 meters by foot, around 10 minutes. Time: There are two boat ticket sessions, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm is the long route, which allows you to land on the islands, and after 3:30 pm is the short route, during the Spring Festival period you can only take the boat and not land on the islands. Boat Route: Yuxing Island (Bird Island) → Jinluo Island → Cuiping Island, see Figure 2. Yuxing Island is Bird Island, where there are peacocks, ostriches, vultures, and other birds, as well as bird performances; Jinluo Island mainly features a wedding customs exhibition hall; Cuiping Island mainly has a hotel. The landscapes of these islands are average, mainly for boat rides to view the lake. After visiting an island, you return to the dock to take a boat to the next island. We started taking the boat around 11 am and after touring all around, we got back to the parking lot at about 4 pm. There are snack stalls on the islands, but only Cuiping Island has fresh fish hot pot, which seems to be 58$ per person. It is recommended to bring enough food.
