Anji Summer Escape—Mountain Beyond Mountain

When it comes to summer retreat recommendations in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area, I highly suggest Anji, a city famed for its bamboo sea. Not only does it boast numerous viral-worthy attractions, but its mountains also offer refreshing coolness, along with diverse activities like rafting and water parks. I found a hotel close to the rafting spot and adjacent to popular attractions—Anji Mountain Beyond Mountain Resort Hotel. I discovered the hotel on a travel platform and chose it for its ideal location~ Surrounded by bamboo forests, the environment is absolutely fantastic! I stayed in the only outdoor panoramic suite in the hotel, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace with amazing natural light! The view was spectacular!! Lush greenery outside was a feast for the eyes, and the fireplace nearby added a cozy ambiance as night fell~ The bathroom even had a bathtub for a relaxing soak in the evening. I adored the water courtyard on the first floor—staff mentioned jazz music at night, which sounded super romantic. The "coffee by day, bar by night" vibe won me over, and it’s an incredibly photogenic spot with Instagram-worthy drinks. By evening, it transforms into a chic bar~ The basement has an indoor pool, and the changing rooms are stocked with facial cleanser and body lotion~ No trip to Anji is complete without trying local cuisine. The hotel’s restaurant serves exceptionally delicious food, with noticeably fresh ingredients at very reasonable prices.
