Anji 3-day 2-night family self-drive, leave when you want, stop when you like

As one of the many beauties of Hangzhou, Anji is indeed a place where you can go on a whim and visit over and over again. I've been there a few times sporadically before, and this time, after much hesitation, I chose Anji two days ahead of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, with two sunny days outdoors followed by one rainy day indoors, which was just perfect 🧳Pre-trip preparation: Mosquito repellent, mosquito repellent, mosquito repellent, say it three times for emphasis 🏨Hotel recommendation: Anji Zhongnan Resort·Tiger Hotel Stayed next to Zhongnan Baicao Garden during the first visit, and the hotel's enclosure (super large scenic room) has several big cats 🐯, offering a wonderful interactive experience. Anji Bamboo Expo Garden Kaiyuan Mingdu Resort Has standard resort hotel room facilities + children's playground, the lobby was just in time for the Dragon Boat Festival rice dumpling wrapping event, the restaurant terrace on the top floor has a great view, and it's just a few steps to the Bamboo Expo Garden (package includes tickets). It's also located between the planned destinations Yucun and Baicao Garden, slightly expensive for meals but plenty of nearby restaurants + county town takeout , it has many advantages. 🚗🚗🚗Travel itinerary: days nights Day1: Yucun→Anji Bamboo Expo Garden Kaiyuan Mingdu Resort→Anji Bamboo Expo Garden ✅Yucun: Where red tourism and internet celebrity check-ins seamlessly merge Learned something new 🆙 This is the place where the phrase 'Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets' originated, which piqued my interest. As expected, there were endless chores before leaving, and by the time we arrived at Yucun, it was past lunchtime, too late for card games, but a glance at the village, park, and greenway was impressive. Next time, next time. 🍽Dining recommendation: Lunch at Changge Xing Restaurant near the village entrance visitor center, which has a sense of design and good taste ✅Bamboo Expo Garden: Not just bamboo, who can resist giant pandas 🐼 Choosing between Bamboo Expo Garden and the Great Bamboo Sea Ultimately, I gave up on the 3A in favor of the 4A. The road is lined with 'Great Bamboo Sea', choosing Bamboo Expo Garden is definitely the right decision! A variety of bamboo species, exquisitely landscaped with a touch of wilderness, highly playable, ⏳ two to three hours is just a quick tour, missed the water show for being late (which didn't really matter ), slides and such are irresistible for kids, while adults made another round in the panda pavilion after being unsatisfied with just one. Just regretted not bringing a stroller for the second half of the journey while carrying a sleepy child, but luckily the hotel was right outside, the old and young headed back first, and continued with my teammate 📸+ Day2: Anji Bamboo Expo Garden Kaiyuan Mingdu Resort→Zhongnan Baicao Prairie→Fujiwara Tofu Shop (Tianhuangping Store)→Anji Bamboo Expo Garden Kaiyuan Mingdu Resort ✅Zhongnan Baicao Garden: A mix of zoo, botanical garden, and amusement park The park is large, and even on holidays, it doesn't feel too crowded. It takes a full day ⏳ to walk and stop, with plenty of shade and no worry about the heat, and there are plenty of dining options, although the taste is just okay. 🌟Upon entering, encountered a large lawn forest hillside, giving it five words 'Zhongnan Altai'. 🌟Moved to the animal area, fed all the 🥕 to the favorite 🐘, high animal activity, and saw peacocks opening (fa) screens (qing) in groups, animal performances sound unnatural, but the lion and sea lion shows are indeed impressive . 🌟The amusement area at the back is the spiritual support for the kids all the way , this time fully enjoyed without the 1-meter height restriction, played repeatedly without long queues, and adults found their place in the rapids and pirate ship. 📝Note tips: Took an electric cart out at the end, the first time pushing a stroller along the driveway walking to the point of doubting life ✅Fujiwara Tofu Shop at Tianhuangping: Fake fans dragging real fans to eat Jay's tofu Left Baicao Garden around 5 pm, still bright in summer, sent the family back to the hotel and started the bonus question for two people, 👉🏻 a spontaneous decision, the destination is not the only purpose, the mountain road is just for the scenery without drifting. The mountain is indeed much cooler than the valley, by evening the peak time passed, 🅿️ parking spots became available, mountain bikes 🚲 motorcycles 🏍️ sports cars lined up for photos gradually dispersed, and the shop's sign also changed color. Since we were there, ordered tofu, 👀 tasty but expensive. 📝Note tips: Not far from Jiangnan Tianchi, the scenic parking lot offers 20 minutes free, which can be used to enjoy the viewing platform, but the weather turned cloudy, missing the sunset and the starry sky. Day3: Anji Bamboo Expo Garden Kaiyuan Mingdu Resort→Zhejiang Natural History Museum (Anji Hall) ✅Natural History Museum: More than just nature, more than just a museum Be sure to book in advance for holidays, 9:00-10:00, still arrived at the entrance around 10:0 something but at least got in , the kids' highlight was the simple and nonsensical 9-grid electronic puzzle at the entrance, played for a long time. The venue is really big, after nearly 3 hours ⏳ got tired and left, didn't have time to enter several halls, because each hall is really interesting, 5-year-old kids may only appreciate the fun, but adults really filled their brains with some scientific knowledge, and the Natural Art Museum is great for photos 📸. Additionally, there is a restaurant inside the museum, commandos can have lunch and continue, we retreated back to Hangzhou, see you next time
