Ishikawa Prefecture Noto Longevity Buddha

Noto Choju Daibutsu, located on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture This 8.4m tall Buddha statue was built in 2003 in the town of Anamizu, and is apparently larger than the Takaoka Daibutsu, one of the three great Buddha statues. There is no admission fee, and although I didn't go because it was raining, the grounds are spacious and feature a three-story pagoda, Kannon, Kobo Daishi, and 11 other Buddhist statues. The Buddha is located just a short distance from the parking lot. Noto Choju Daibutsu Anamizu-cho, Hōsu-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture, Otogasaki Shin 66 #Autumn leaves #Maple
