amphawa floating market 2h from bangkok city

we took a klook package and boarded the tour bus at siam paragon exit 5 11am on a Friday in September. after $10 coupon we grabbed, it was around $90+ for 2 adults. it consisted of maeklong railway market and amphawa floating market with fireflies. the floating market has quite a number of stalls and branches off across 2 bridges over the amphawa river. oysters were cheap but a bit bland. we chose to dine by the river but beware of active kids falling through the gap below the table. the highlight was fireflies after the sunset, so we boarded the 620pm motorboat as arranged by our guide. the boat first passed by some temples and a 5-star hotel, before heading the other way for fireflies which light up like an Xmas tree. along the way there were more bridges and temples. #foodie #passionpassport #bucketlistreboot #givethanks #staycation #naturalwonders
