One must embark on a desert trek at least once in life

The perks: Great weather, extremely photogenic (seeing beautiful scenery makes one happy). The Little Swan Lake and Sun Lake at sunset are incredibly beautiful... The desert turns a reddish-brown under the setting sun, which is extremely picturesque. Suggestions: The desert has a significant temperature difference between day and night. Be sure to wear a hat during the day when trekking. There's no need to wear too much during the day; I myself wear a quick-drying shirt and a softshell jacket (with thin cotton lining). Shoes!!
