Akita Arts Theatre Mille Has Opened in 2022, it was formerly the Akita Prefectural Civic Hall. The name Mille Has: Mille = "thousand" in Senshu Park, represented here by the French word for "thousand", Mille. Has: The Japanese word for lotus is ハス, pronounced Has. The name Mille Has was selected from submissions by residents of Akita City. ♥️Opposite Senshu Park. ♥️The building incorporates elements from various parts of Akita Prefecture. The circular design is a craft from Odate City, made from Akita cedar. (Photos 3, 4, 5) ♥️The first floor is a café and rest area, and many students come here to study, creating a great atmosphere. ♥️The building is beautifully designed and worth a special visit. Especially the 2nd and 3rd floors, which have wooden bay windows, offer beautiful views of Akita City.
