The UNESCO place of Sicilia

#springwander Agrigento is a city famous for its "Temphal Valley", the largest archeological group in Sicily. In ancient times, about 300,000 people lived there, and it was a place that the poet Pindalus praised as "the most beautiful place in the city of mankind" because of the concentration of ancient Greek temples. Many well-preserved ruins still remain, and they are also registered as a national historic site in Italy and a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The highlight is the "Temple of Concordia", which enshrines the goddess who symbolises peace in Roman mythology.
