Light Square

#australiatrip Light Square (Wayu) is in Adelaide between Currie St and Waymouth St with Morphett St running along either side. This park honours Colonel William Light who surveyed Adelaide. A memorial of a thedolite is a tribute to him. In the SW corner is a statue of a lady Mary Spence who dedicated her life to children. The park is a good place for a picnic or something, very green and healthy for the eyes. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to get a bit of outside time in the city.
