Had a great 4 full days of snowboarding at Beidahu ski resort in China. Nearest airport is Changchun Longjia Airport and takes around 1.5hrs drive to get to the resort (around 250-300rmb cost one way). The ski resort has some very challenging black slopes and can tailor to both beginners and experts alike. Would highly recommended to grove the resort a try for a less expensive powder experience than compared to Japan or Europe

Had a great stay and ski holiday at Beidahu, great powder without the price of expensive Japanese ski resorts. 2 hours away from Changchun Longjia Airport and there’s plenty of hotel and food options at the resort area. Would highly recommend if you are a ski enthusiast, the slopes can be pretty challenging.

It is situated 141 km from Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, and 53 km from downtown Jilin City. The area boasts nine mountains exceeding 1,200 meters in elevation, with the highest peak being Nanlou Mountain at 1,404 meters. The ski resort spans a total area of 17.5 square kilometers, with a maximum vertical drop of 870 meters. There are a total of four lifts and gondolas. The ski season is coming! I choose to spend 3 to 4 days at Club Med Beidahu Resort in China every year. Most of the time, booking in advance can get you a better price, especially the longer you stay, the lower the average price. Especially during the Spring Festival, the atmosphere at the resort is very lively, and the food is particularly rich. Transportation is average The resort is about a two-hour drive from the airport, and although the journey is a bit long, considering the cost of Club Med, I usually choose to book a ride-hailing service or express car in advance, and I can usually find a cost-effective ride-hailing option. Great skiing experience The skiing experience is the highlight here. The resort offers all-inclusive packages with coaches, and although the all-inclusive is a group class, each group usually has only about 10 people, and sometimes only 5 people in the afternoon because of the reduced number of people.
