#SeoulSuburbs The rose garden of Yeongdong Chupungryeong Water Tower, which I waited a whole year to visit after seeing a photo from last year. The weather was definitely nice when I left, but it got cloudy as soon as I arrived, and half of the roses had already fallen from the previous rain and wind, and the other half were still blooming, so I came at the wrong time 🥺 It's a rose garden filled with various kinds of roses, and there are still some blooming roses, so it looks like it'll be really pretty for a while! / Yeongdong🌿 The place I'm going to introduce is Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do! It's the perfect place for these days when it's hard to travel due to the prolonged coronavirus. Last summer, I really wanted to travel, but I couldn't go to crowded places because of the coronavirus, so I found this place! First of all, there are really no people. I almost took off my mask when I walked around ㅎㅎ (Of course, I wore it when there were people!) It's also great for healing. In particular, I really recommend the 'Yangsan Palgyeong Geumgang Dulle-gil'! It's a 2-hour course that starts from 'Gangseondae' and follows the perimeter road and returns to Gangseondae. Unfortunately, I went in the middle of summer and it was too hot so I couldn't finish it all. ㅜㅜ I think it would be really great if you go in the cool weather like now! The places in the photo are Gangseondae and Songho National Tourist Site! They're all included in the Yangsan Palgyeong Geumgang Dulle-gil course. The site of the 'Nogunri Incident' where many civilians were killed during the Korean War From July 26 to 29, 1950, for four days, retreating US troops gathered residents and refugees of Jugok-ri and Imgye-ri in Yeongdong-eup inside a culvert and committed massacre. This is the place where the bullet marks remain.

Today, we're introducing Donghae Restaurant located in Yeongdong, Chungbuk. This place offers breakfast, opening as early as 7:30 AM. The owner and staff are elderly, so please be patient.
