All Moments About Yehliu Geopark
Taiwan Yeliu Geopark 👍 Highly recommended Taipei tourist attraction!!
Yeliu Geopark is a really cool place in Taiwan ❗️
There are various ways to get here, such as private taxi tours, bus tours, etc., but I went there by bus, so I'll leave the bus information.
Take the 1815 bus from the bus stop right next to Taipei Main Station! It takes about 60 minutes to get to Yeliu, costs 96 yuan, and the bus runs at about 10 to 25 minutes intervals.
➡️Get off at Yeliu Yeliu Station and walk for about 15 to 20 minutes to get to Yeliu Geopark!
🧡From the entrance of Yeliu Geopark, mushroom-shaped rocks welcome you. In fact,
the upper part of the rock is made of sandstone that has withstood erosion, and the rock layer below the rock has been eroded by the wind to become mushroom-shaped, so there are mushroom rocks, and honeycomb rocks that are continuously formed by the salt water.
8th photo! The mascot of Yehliu Geopark and the hottest rock here, Queen's Rock, is currently being eroded by the wind, so it may not be seen in the future because its neck may be completely broken.
💖Yehliu Geopark with such a beautiful view! I highly recommend you visit it when you travel to Taiwan!❗️💖
✔️Yehliu Geopark entrance fee
- Adult NT$120
- Concessionary NT$60
⏰ Hours 08:00~17:00
⭐️ TIP ⭐️
!!! Bring your international student ID and get a half-price discount!! ★
I got an international student ID and always carry it with me when I travel abroad, and it's useful everywhere, not just in Taiwan 💖

Taiwan's space-like landscape of strange rock formations [Yehliu Geopark]
I went to Yehliu Geopark, where you can enjoy the space-like scenery of strange rocks in Taiwan.
It was a wonderful park where you could stroll among the strange rocks formed by sea erosion and see the mysterious scenery that made you feel like you had wandered into another world.
It is about an hour and 20 minutes by bus from Taipei Station, so it is easy to go even on a solo trip.
It was a very fun park where you could see rocks and fossils of various shapes.
There was also a delicious seafood restaurant near the park.
Thank you for visiting Trip Memory 😊

Yehliu Fresh & Delicious Seafood
Yehliu is a fishing village in Taipei. It is famous for fresh seafood at affordable prices. There are many restaurants along the road. We randomly chose one and had the Lala (Clam) Soup, Oyster Omelette and Deep fried Fish. All the dishes were delicious. The clams were thoroughly cleaned and no sand inside at all. Must order the Oyster Omelette, the sauce was special and only can eat such a flavour here.

Yehliu, a beautiful sea and park adjacent to Taipei!
If you are feeling burdened by the tight schedule of Yesjinji Tour,
just take a bus from downtown Taipei for about an hour
and you will arrive at Yeliu. Cool waves that will make your heart pound,
beautiful rocks created by Mother Nature, and even the sunset.
How about just getting on the bus like me today without thinking about anything?

A collaboration of old and new!
On my 5-day trip to Taipei, I was immersed in a perfect blend of rich history, breathtaking scenery, and mouthwatering food. The adventure began with a visit to the iconic Taipei 101, where I marveled at the stunning city views from the observation deck. Each day, I ventured through vibrant markets like Night Markets, indulging in bubble tea, crispy dumplings — savoring the flavors of Taiwan’s famous street food.
The historical sites were equally captivating. I explored the majestic Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, where I stood in awe of the grand architecture and serene gardens, learning about Taiwan’s history. The people of Taipei were incredibly warm and welcoming. Whether I was asking for directions or chatting with locals in a café, their kindness made the experience even more enriching. Every corner of Taipei offered a new experience: a mix of old-world charm, modern innovation, and incredible flavors that left me longing to return. It was an unforgettable journey full of discoveries and moments of tranquility in a city that effortlessly combines the past, present, and future. #taipei #taiwan #ximending
Queen’s Head at Yehliu Geopark
Should visit ASAP one of main attractions in Taiwan before its collapse due to weather conditions as well as long-term seawater erosion. #queenheadrock #yehliugeopark
Yehliu Geopark
Yehliu Geopark in Taiwan is located on Datun Mountain. When viewed from above, it resembles a giant turtle floating in the sea. This geopark was formed due to rock erosion, tectonic movements, and climate changes, leading to significant geographical transformations, making it one of Taiwan's important natural parks.
The park is divided into three sections. The first section features uniquely shaped rocks such as the Queen's Head and Fairy's Shoe. The second section has Bean Rocks and Dragon's Head Rock. The third section includes sea-eroded caves and various rock formations, making the geopark an excellent place for geological studies.

[Taiwan] One-day tour of the North Coast area
I spent a day sightseeing in the north coast area of Taiwan!
Route: Yehliu area & Geopark (Queen Head) ⇨ Keelung ⇨ Keelung Zhongzheng Park ⇨ Shifen Baobu ⇨ Shifen Old Street ⇨ Jiufen Old Street
I was worried about the weather, but it was fine during the sightseeing, so I was lucky❗️
I was impressed to see many landscapes in the Yehliu area that are not in Japan🥹
My husband told me that Queen Head might not be visible in a few years, so I was glad to see it⭐️There are many shops selling local specialties around the park, so it's recommended to look around!
If Jiufen and Shifen are not enough, please add Yehliu and Keelung and enjoy it!
I recommend it♪

[Taiwan] The ocean and the amazing views! You must go!
Sorry, I didn't know this place, but it was the first destination of the tour.
I didn't have high expectations, but it was so wonderful!!!
A view that you can't see in Japan spread out before you, and the sea and strange rocks were a spectacular sight👀✨
It was a place that made me think, "The sea in Taiwan is so wonderful..."
There is also something like a market near the parking lot, and my husband was drinking coconut juice, but it seemed to taste a little young😂
I'm sure many people don't know about it, but I recommend it🩷Please🫶

【Taiwan】Queen's Head・Yehliu Queen's Head
I went to see a limited-time event that will run until July 14, 2024. It is the Yehliu Light-up event held at Yehliu Geopark.
The Yehliu Light-up event held at Yehliu Geopark is limited to about two weeks in the summer, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the strange rocks at night.
The rocks and scenery of Yehliu were specially lit up, and the rocks and strange rocks were illuminated with projection mapping of event fish.
It was humid and muggy even at night. The Queen's Head was divided into a line of people who wanted to take pictures and those who didn't, and I was able to take pictures in line for about 10 minutes.
I was bitten by insects, but the fountain show was beautiful, and it might be a good idea to see it once.

Breathtaking view of Yehliu Geo-park!
Yehliu Geopark is a must-visit tourist spot in New Taipei, Taiwan. It is famous for its unique rock formations that have been shaped by natural forces over thousands of years. The park is home to various geological wonders, including the iconic "Queen's Head" rock formation. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll along the park's trails and marvel at the intricate shapes and patterns of the rocks. The stunning coastal scenery adds to the charm of this place. Nearby attractions worth exploring include the charming fishing village of Jiufen and the beautiful Shifen Waterfall. Taipei Yehliu Geopark, where unusual rocks are gathered on the coast
📍Yehliu Geopark

⏱️Opening hours: Daily 08:00~17:00 (May~August 08:00~18:00)

Yehliu Geopark is the first stop of the Yehliu Tour, and it is a place where rare-shaped rocks are gathered on the coast, and it is recognized as an important marine ecosystem resource in the world geology!
There are many uniquely shaped rocks such as candle rocks, honeycomb rocks, and checkerboard rocks, so many tourists take pictures everywhere
Yehliu Geopark has no shade and is spacious, so if you go on a hot day, it is recommended to bring sunscreen, water, and sunglasses!!

Yeliu Geopark, where you can experience Taiwan's nature as it is
#Taiwan travel
Atmosphere/facilities: There are no cafes or restaurants!
Key points: The park has a beautiful view from the observation deck. You have to take a picture with the Queen's Head Rock.
Average price per person: NT$80
Rating: 4
You can see the rock formations that were formed by erosion and weathering about 10 million years ago. The most famous rock is the Queen's Head Rock, but the line is long, so you can take a picture from the opposite side and turn around!
The entrance fee is NT$80, which is good value for money for the park entrance fee. Since Yehliu Geopark is located in a remote area, I recommend taking a bus tour or taxi tour.
Yeliuji Geopark Queen's Head Photo TIP
No need to stand in line to take pictures
Even if you stand in line to take pictures, people will be taking pictures on the other side without lining up anyway, so they will all appear in the pictures^^
So if you came on a bus tour and don't have much time, you can save time by taking pictures on the other side without lining up!
If you stand in line to take pictures, you won't have much time to look around other places...!
[Taiwan's hidden gem 🏔 Yehliu Geopark]
Do you know Yehliu Geopark in the north of Taiwan?
It's not as well-known as Jiufen or Shifen, but I personally highly recommend it!
The rock surface has changed into various shapes due to weathering. It's so beautiful and interesting that it's hard to believe it was formed naturally! The famous one is the rock that looks like a woman's head, which can be seen in the center of the first photo, and is called "Queen's Head" 👸
All the rocks have interesting shapes, so I had fun taking photos with my friends, discussing what they looked like 🙌
One thing to note is that you can only get there by bus...
It's a little far from Taipei, so I thought the transportation was inconvenient!
However, it may have changed since I went, so please check in advance!

★Yeliu Geopark, the number 1 tourist attraction in Taiwan ★
I came to Yehliu Geopark in New Taipei City for the first time in 20 years. There is no natural sculpture of a woman anywhere, and the shape remains like a whale's tail, eroded by the wind and nature. Time flies. ★Still, Yehliu Geopark in New Taipei City is the number 1 tourist attraction that you must visit. #recreation #YehliuGeopark #TaipeiTravel
Part 3 of my trip to Taiwan before Corona: Yeliu Geopark
Hello, this is Zolbin!
This time, it's Taiwan Yeliu Geopark.
We went there via bus tour~~!
It was too windy so it was a shame, but it was really amazing to see the rocks being eroded by nature, including the wind~!
If you want to visit, definitely make sure to reserve a bus tour!

A place where mushroom-shaped rocks created by wind and waves are gathered!
The famous mushroom rocks are Queen Rock and Heart Rock〰
It's not necessarily a famous rock, but it seems like it would look pretty no matter where you take a picture ㅎㅎ
The weather in this area is unstable, so I recommend going on a day with good weather:)
A mysterious piece of nature, Taiwan Yeliu Geopark🪨

✔️ It's so hot in the summer due to the heat of the rocks
✔️ I recommend Yesjinji Taxi Tour
✔️ They say it's closed on days when the wind is too strong
