Under the warm winter sun, I accidentally stayed at | Weishan Xishe Inn | 🌞 The inn is located in the very center of Weishan Ancient Town, right outside is Xinggong Tower. The inn is a century-old large courtyard house. As soon as you enter, there is a large quadrangle courtyard, and walking further inside is even more surprising. Each courtyard has its own scenery, and the courtyards in the Ming and Qing Chinese style preserve the original traditional residential style of Weishan. Drinking tea and feeding fish in the courtyard, I stayed the whole afternoon. The relaxed feeling allowed me to clear my mind and body. The beautiful young lady innkeeper at the inn cares for me every day, making me feel at home. The whole house is smart-controlled; just say "Xiaodu" and everything is taken care of. The bedding is also incredibly soft against the skin—a detail-oriented person's dream! The Yihe Yunxi Jinshi Residence Hotel we stayed at this time was a delightful surprise—just daydreaming in the hotel alone was worth the room price! 🏨 Heavenly Hotel Recommendation The Dali Yihe Yunxi Jinshi Residence Hotel is located at No. 56 Beijie Street in the ancient city, with an excellent location. The hotel is converted from the former residence of Ming and Qing dynasty Jinshi scholars, with a three-courtyard layout full of scenic spots. The blue bricks and black tiles are dotted with pines and bamboos, giving a feeling of traveling back to ancient times. My favorite was the little animals in the courtyard—the moment the peacock fanned its tail was stunning! The butler service is super attentive and even arranges special activities like incense-making experiences~ 🏯 Must-Visit Attractions 1⃣ Weishan Ancient City You can explore the entire ancient city on foot from the hotel. Don’t miss the two landmarks, Xinggong Tower and Gongchen Tower. I recommend visiting early in the morning to watch locals slowly start their day—it’s very healing. 2⃣ Mengyang Park A quaint and charming public park where many elderly people play chess and chat under the trees, giving you a taste of authentic daily life in Weishan. 3⃣ Nanzhao Museum A great place to learn about Nanzhao’s history and culture. Although the collection is small, the exhibits are thoughtfully arranged, and admission is free! 4⃣ Weibao Mountain About a 20-minute drive from the ancient city, this famous Taoist mountain offers beautiful scenery.
