Visiting Wadi Rum was an amazing experience. The stunning desert landscape and massive rocks made me feel like I was in a movie. The natural beauty here is breathtaking. The colors and terrain are wonderfully intertwined. I enjoyed riding a camel in the desert, which gave me the opportunity to explore sand dunes and archaeological sites. That experience was special, especially when I was sitting under the starry night sky. I also tasted local food at one of the camps, and the traditional dishes were delicious and full of flavor. If you want to enjoy the beauty of nature and experience Bedouin culture, visiting Wadi Rum is highly recommended. It's a unique and unforgettable travel destination! 🏜️🌌

Wadi Rum is a perfect destination for adventure seekers, photographers and nature lovers. It is one of my favourite places on Earth. The 74,000-hectare property, inscribed as a mixed natural and cultural site, is situated in southern Jordan, near the border with Saudi Arabia. It features a varied desert landscape consisting of a range of narrow gorges, natural arches, towering cliffs, ramps, massive landslides and caverns. Petroglyphs, inscriptions and archaeological remains in the site testify to 12,000 years of human occupation and interaction with the natural environment. The combination of 25,000 rock carvings with 20,000 inscriptions trace the evolution of human thought and the early development of the alphabet. The site illustrates the evolution of pastoral, agricultural and urban activity in the region.

This is the famous Wadi Rum Desert located not far from the coastal city of Aqaba (there is airport with cheap flights there). It looks alien. You can believe this view is on our planet. I took a two-day, one-night tour of the Wadi Rum desert from the town of Petra. I'll explain the outline of the tour. You can book the tour at the hotel in the town of Petra. The price is about 50 JOD. The tour involves a minibus picking you up at the hotel early in the morning. After a two-hour drive, you'll arrive at the Wadi Rum desert. In the Wadi Rum desert, a guide will be waiting for you, and you'll get in the guide's pickup truck and drive through the desert. There were two courses here, a four-hour course and an eight-hour course, depending on the price. I took the four-hour course. The guide will take you to each of the famous sights while driving through the desert. Places to visit include the famous Mushroom Rock, Abu Kasaba Canyon, Arch Rock, and more. There are no places to buy drinks in the heat, so it's necessary to buy them in advance. After that, you'll have dinner at a Bedouin camp and sleep around firewood. Then they took us to the entrance gate of the Wadi Rum Museum, and the tour ended. By the way, they do not arrange transportation from the Wadi Rum Desert, so make sure to prepare properly. Celebrating New Year’s Eve: A Reflection on Joy and Togetherness. My friends and I spent New Year's Eve in the desert in the camp and it was a unique experience. We had a great time with homemade food, live music and great discussions with the other guests and Fawaz relatives. We even had a surprise : fireworks for the new year, it was great! The next day we went on a private tour of Wadi Rum with Fawaz and it was unbelievable. Highly recommended!!!

#desert The desert of Wadi Rum was a dream. We rented a car from Accra and head down to the Red Sea. We spent half of the day there and without losing time we went to Wadi Room to sleep there. We had time to see the sunset with a jeep that took us around the desert. At night we watch the stars with a bonfire. We woke up very early in the morning to see the sunrise with the camels. It was an unforgettable experience.
