Japan Travel🇯🇵Kurobe Tateyama
A place I have always looked forward to traveling to🤩🤩🤩
I originally thought the transportation would be complicated, but actually when I arrived at the scene, I felt it was totally fine!
🗓️Itinerary:
Kurobe Tateyama can be climbed from Ogizawa Station or Tateyama Station.
It depends on which side is more convenient for traveling. We went up the mountain from Ogizawa Station to the Snow Wall Station and then went down the mountain the same way. The advantage is that almost all transportation on the mountain can be reached🤩
Starting from Ogizawa Station and going up the mountain to the snow wall, there are a total of four modes of transportation.
Two buses and two cable cars are really fun!!!
Each stop has different features and is great for taking photos.
💰Per capita consumption:
The cost of the uphill ticket (I am taking a one-way round trip as an example)
Ride section: Ogizawa-Murodo Round trip
Price: ¥12,300
🕰️Business hours:
The official website for ride times has timetables for reference.
Pay special attention to the last train time to go down the mountain

[Si Si-Hsien Enjoys the World] Fantasy lighting of Toyama Tour! Toiwa Canal Surrounding Park✨
Before going to Kanazawa stay 4 days 3 nights, take advantage of the Shinkansen pass to Toyama day trip 🚅 highly recommend you to go to Toiwa Canal Water Park to see the night view 🌃 I personally felt, really beautiful! 😍
In the evening, the Tianmen Bridge in the water park and the fountain at the southern end of the park will be lit up by lights, super romantic!💖 The park has different lights throughout the year, cherry blossom season and autumn have their own characteristics🌸🍁
In winter, the sunset is relatively early, the whole park environment is very beautiful and quiet😌 Come to the park at night, walk along the trail, slowly enjoy, slowly take the night view, very romantic!
💡小贴士:
The pillars on both sides of the Tianmen Bridge can be accessed and are two separate observation decks for a more beautiful view!
The park is open all day, but the Tianmen Bridge Watchtower is open from 9:00-21:30.

⏱️ Hours: Open all day (Tianmen Bridge Watchtower: 9:00-21:30)

The Beauty of Toyama: More Than Just Starbucks and Majestic Mountains
Toyama's Starbucks is known as the most beautiful
Even though it rained today in Toyama, the Hokuriku Mountains remain stunning
I always thought Japan's most beautiful Starbucks was due to the cherry blossom trees nearby
But after coming here, I believe the beautiful mountains in the background add a lot to its charm
Additionally, for those visiting Toyama, you can walk to the Toyama Art Museum
It's not far to walk from the park
The view from the rooftop is absolutely stunning
And it's free to go up to the rooftop!
I visited the Toyama Glass Art Museum.
Did you know that Toyama is one of the world's leading glass cities? This museum, designed by the renowned architect Kengo Kuma, is popular for its unique architecture. The building houses the Toyama Glass Art Museum, the Toyama City Library Main Building, and a museum shop.
On this day, in addition to the permanent exhibition, the Toyama Glass Art Award Exhibition 2024 was also being held, and the displays were absolutely stunning!
Please note that photography is not allowed in the permanent exhibition.
The museum shop also had a lot of stylish items, so I highly recommend it.

Japan's Most Beautiful Starbucks in Hokuriku
The Tenmon Bridge Observatory in Fugan Canal Kansui Park offers a stunning view. From the nearby canal to the lush green park, the small houses of Toyama City in the distance, and the snow-covered Tateyama Kurobe in the farthest background, the scenery is truly picturesque and unforgettable. If you visit at dusk, the sunlight reflecting off the snow on Tateyama Kurobe turns the mountains golden, creating a rare and breathtaking sight.
The Starbucks located within Fugan Canal Kansui Park is hailed as the most beautiful Starbucks in the Hokuriku region. Sitting outdoors, you can enjoy a distant view of Tateyama Kurobe and a close-up of Kansui Park, with cherry blossoms accompanying you in spring, making it a very relaxing experience. Be aware that this Starbucks concept store often has long lines, so be prepared!
🕰️ Business Hours: 08:00~22:30
🏖️ Environment/Facilities: Highly recommend enjoying your coffee outdoors. You can also go to the Fugan Canal Bridge for a better view of the Starbucks for a perfect photo opportunity.
📍 Address: Fugan Canal Kansui Park, Irifunecho Port Area, Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture
💰 Average Cost: JPY 1000
💞 Recommended Reason: The most beautiful Starbucks in Hokuriku, with a view of Tateyama Kurobe in good weather and cherry blossoms in season.
🗓️ Itinerary: You can plan a day trip from Kanazawa to Toyama, which is only about a 20-minute Shinkansen ride away.

[Toyama] Fish Dontei
A restaurant in a commercial facility in the station!
A restaurant where you can enjoy yourself right up to your Shinkansen train time!
The souvenir shop is nearby, and there are coin lockers outside!
The restaurant itself has a fisherman's atmosphere, and the interior design makes you feel like you're eating at the beach rather than at the station!
They serve fresh fish, and the lunch is very cheap and good value, so there were a lot of people lined up!
Everything from sashimi to the side dishes was delicious!

Toyama Station's Gourmet Shopping District 'Noren Yokocho'
Noren Yokocho is located on the first floor to the right of the Toyama Station building complex. It is a district brimming with food streets and souvenir shops. During the beautiful spring season, cherry blossoms bloom at the station entrance, creating a picturesque scene with the station.
The shopping area inside the station is also very enjoyable to explore, offering a variety of dining, drinking, and entertainment options to satisfy travelers' shopping needs. Seafood delicacies are a must-try classic in Toyama, so remember to indulge in the local cuisine and complete your Japanese food journey.
[Toyama] Even baseball fans will be amazed! Cheap and delicious sushi restaurant
📍Jo Sushi, Toyama
When you think of Toyama, you think of delicious seafood and sushi!
So I was looking for sushi for lunch and found this cheap and delicious sushi restaurant🍣
It's a small sushi shop run by a married couple, with L-shaped counter seats and a tatami room in the back. ・There are 17 seats (9 at the counter, 8 in the small room). The chef makes the sushi right in front of you, and both of them are friendly and talked to us about various things, such as "Where are you from?" and "This spot in Toyama is recommended"☺️The owner believes that "all food should be freshly made," so he makes miso soup every time you visit and serves it fresh!! !
For lunch, there is a lunch set of 9 pieces of sushi + 6 pieces of thin rolls + miso soup, and this volume costs 1,800 yen🍣↑And it's available not only on weekdays but also on weekends!! !
Of course, you can order additional ingredients of your choice individually or have a la carte dishes.
There's also something amazing on display in the store...
A bat on a shelf with the following written on it: "This precious bat was given to us by Nagashima, gold-plated from the bat he used in his last game as an active player."
There are only two bats in the world in this sushi restaurant in Toyama!! 😳😳
Also, the Hanshin Tigers uniform is the retired number "11" worn by Murayama Minoru when he was manager! This restaurant is also recommended for baseball fans🍣

On the roof of the museum, there is a free play area for children called the "Onomatopoeia Rooftop"! *Open on Wednesdays when the museum is closed*Not available during the winter season from December 1st to March 15th

[Toyama] A bridge that overlooks the Tateyama mountain range during the day and is beautifully lit up at night
📍Tenmon Bridge, Toyama
Tenmon Bridge is a symbol of the park, along with the Fountain and Waterfall Square in Fugan Canal Kansui Park. 🪜
From the observation towers with elevators on both ends, you can get a panoramic view of the entire Kansui Park, and on a clear day, you can see the Tateyama mountain range. ⛰️ (※The observation deck is on the third floor and can be reached by elevator or stairs.)
The day I visited was also a clear day, and I was able to see the beautiful Tateyama mountain range. 💕
At the top of the observation deck, there is a sign that says Toyama Viewpoint!! And the bridge lit up at night has a lovely atmosphere too~😊🤍
It's close to Toyama Station, so it's worth visiting twice a day🫶(↑I also visited twice a day. lol)

Toyama City
Toyama City, located in the central part of Toyama Prefecture, Japan, is the capital of Toyama Prefecture. It is the largest and most populous city in Toyama Prefecture. The city is full of a simple and casual atmosphere. It only takes two hours to reach Toyama Station from Tokyo by Hokuriku Shinkansen.

It is also close to the World Heritage Site "Shirakawa-go Gassho Village" and has famous attractions such as "Toyama Castle", "Toyama Glass Museum", "Toyama Prefectural Art Museum", and "Toyama Canal Park". #Spring festival
Japan is a country with four distinct seasons that it loves to celebrate with various seasonal holidays.
Springtime is a time of mild weather and blossoming sakura trees, a season for cleaning up the family altar and praying for children to grow up strong and healthy.Hanami is a special type of spring festival in Japan that involves picnics around cherry blossom trees to celebrate their flowers coming to bloom.
Amazing Toyama
Toyama is easily accessible from Tokyo and other major cities.Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station and the ride takes approximately two hours.
Toyama is a modern city, but it retains the local character shaped by its surroundings—mountains, sea, and rivers.
Toyama's location and access to public transportation make it a great starting point for trips in and around the region. Take day trips to nearby towns and ski resorts, tackle the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and continue on to Nagano Prefecture or visit neighboring prefectures such as Kanazawa, Takayama, Kamikochi, and Matsumoto.
#Gb's Cafe
This place is a trip-some of their dishes have little semblance to their supposedly "American" originals, and the restaurant is decked out in kitchy decor.
Moreover, the portion sizes are large and great for sharing. really felt like I was in an American pub, and the burgers are not even mentioned, we ordered the Onion Tower and GBs Burguer, the breaded onions are wonderful !
I would advise those with dietary restrictions to be vigilant though-some dishes have bits of meat mixed in.

I came here with my friends before I move to another city here in Japan. The cake is cute anyway and the interior. Both food and drinks looked good and delicious. I was able to spend a relaxing time.Everything is fashionable and very stylish cafe.Recommended for girls and couples.
The price of food and drinks is not that expensive.I really like the cake so I bought one for takeout.
I thought that the appearance would be important, but each one is carefully made and is delicious enough. It seems that the pastry chef makes it every day, and even those who are careful about their health or on a diet can eat it without feeling guilty because there are no preservatives. It looks dark from the outside, but it's very cozy inside.

Street food Festival
When a festival is going on in Japan, you can bet that there’ll be food stall and after attending one festival after another, you can more or less get an idea of what food to expect. Whether it’s festivals at temples and shrines, or school festivals, there are certain foods that just happen to be associated with food stall, and here are some of them. Stall food usually costs no more than 1,000 yen, with the average price being about 500 yen.No festival is complete without good ol’ yakisoba. Kushiyaki is a catch-all term for grilled, skewered meats, the most popular type being yakitori. You can also try okonomiyaki, takoyaki, choco banana and many more foods😊.
Winter, Kurobe Dam
The construction of the reservoir took a total of seven years. The artificial lake formed by intercepting Gomaezawa has a water storage capacity of over 200 million cubic meters. It is the largest reservoir in Japan. It was officially completed and put into use in 1963 and was built by Kansai Electric Power Company at a cost of 51.3 billion yen. In 1968, Yujiro Ishihara made the movie "Kurobe's Sun" (黒部の太太) using this reservoir as the location. On December 31, 2002, during the NHK TV program "Kohaku Uta Gassen", Miyuki Nakajima sang "Star on the Ground" in a cave at the Kurobe Dam, setting a record high instant audience rating of 52.8%. The Kitanosawa Dam, the setting for the 15th Detective Conan theatrical film "15 Minutes of Silence" released on April 16, 2011, was also located here.
Toyama Glass Art Museum
Access: Less than 15 minutes by bus from Toyama Station
Toyama City is basically a car or bus, so it's in a good location.
Tourist spots:
It's one of the top tourist spots in Toyama City, so you'll regret it if you don't go.
This is a work by Kengo Kuma, a famous architect who is famous for sake.
It makes use of glass and is very beautiful with the sparkling light from outside. It is a famous building that was designed and built with consideration for the light of Toyama, the angle of the building, and every detail.
You can see all the way to the ceiling from inside the building. It looks like it's made of wood. It has an image of stairs and escalators going up and down the stairs. It has a very open feeling, and the building itself is a work of art. Please go and see it.
It's free to just view the building, and it's cheap at 200 yen to see the exhibition hall.

The Kurobe Gorge (黒部峡谷, Kurobe Kyōkoku) is a beautiful, forested ravine in the rugged mountains of the Northern Japan Alps. Cut by the Kurobe River, it is one of the deepest gorges in Japan. Its steep, nearly vertical cliffs, untouched virgin forests, and outdoor hot springs have made it a famous destination to see natural scenic beauty. It is not to be confused with the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, which is nearby, but accessed from a completely different direction.
The main attraction of the gorge is the Kurobe Gorge Railway, a sightseeing train originally built to aid the construction of the Kurobe Dam. Today the small trains operate along a winding, 20 kilometer stretch between Unazuki and Keyakidaira stations. The exciting 80 minute journey leads across more than 20 bridges and through over 40 tunnels, and offers visitors panoramic views of the gorge below. The trains stop at a few stations along the way where visitors can get off and explore.

Rooftop of Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art
This was my second visit to the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art.
This museum has a children's play area on the rooftop that is perfect for Instagram, and the view is great, so kids seem to enjoy playing there.
There is a fee to enter the museum, but the rooftop is free.
If you are visiting the museum as an adult, be sure to check out the rooftop as well.
