Of all the China Airlines VIP lounge dishes, the beef noodles are still my favorite. Besides the original Meiyuan, China Airlines has another one across from Gate D4 on its second flight. I'll definitely check it out next time. Besides the standard options, a bowl of beef noodles is a must. Add apple juice and an Americano, and you'll be full in the morning. They also have a good selection of wine, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back... 🤣

While the selection isn't large, it's a great way to fill yourself up. Late check-out is possible until 2:00 AM. The breakfast offers a wide variety, mostly Chinese, so it's very accessible. The European bread is a highlight. They also offer freshly made noodles, and come with porridge and side dishes. The price is reasonable, and if you're catching an early or late flight back to Taiwan, I think it's a good place to stay for one night.

This time, I flew Royal Laurel Class (1:2:1 ratio). I had already selected my meals online: Lao Ganbei premium Japanese A5 Wagyu beef with rice and Din Tai Fung xiaolongbao with a bowl of chicken soup. I also ate quite a bit in the Air China VIP lounge and was a bit full. So, I thought the meal (Lao Ganbei) was just okay. 😓 But the host said his Din Tai Fung was super delicious! 😂 The flight wasn't long, but I already thought the quality and standard of the meal were quite good! So far, all the EVA Air business meals I've taken have included Häagen-Dazs and slippers, which is really great. ❤️
