#traveldiaries You would not believe the age of this restaurant by seeing it, but this restaurant, called Pun Chun Wonton Noodle shop, has been serving customers for the good old 87 years at Bidor, Perak. Even the ex Singapore prime minister Lee Hsien Loong was reminded of his childhood experience having noodle with his father here when visitung then Malaya. The noodles are made using traditional methods of bamboo pressing, and the Wonton is huge, each having 2 shrimps in it. We ordered 4 portions of noodle plus soup with additional 10, and the meal is so satisfying. They also sell various kinds of biscuits and we bought some back. Besides, this shop also brings me back 25 years ago when I first visited here brought by my uncle. This trip bring back lots of memory and I will definitely visit again.

Garden Seafood Cuisine It's an air conditioning restaurant serving halal Chinese food. They open for lunch and dinner. The food taste very good and still can maintain the taste of authentic Chinese cuisine. This is the best place in Perak to have seafood - highly recommended for you to stop by this restaurant when you pass by Tanjung Malim at the North-South highway. Best hipster coffee house in the town. A secret jewel finally discovered. Located in the Universiti Perguruan Sultan Idris Tanjung Malim nearby the UPSI blue mosque and very instagrammable place for youngsters and older millennials. The place is easily to locate and plenty of parking space in front of the shop. Tanjung Malim have already grown from small town to a mordern larger town nowadays. Apart of conventional Starbucks, Zus Coffee, and Richiamore in the town, He&She coffee is another must be visited place to be added to the bucket list for coffee hunters in this town. Besides coffee this place also offers donuts, muffins, pastries, and some malay food for breakfast and lunch. Try it when you stop by at Tg Malim. Great environment and ambient. The design of the restaurant is definitely to blend in with nature. You can hear water flowing sound, bird chipping etc. Food was good. Interesting modern arts on the walls, love the ambience and concept of the wash room. Comfortable. The food? We ordered Seafood Tom Yum, Tom Kha Gai, Fried Chicken with Cashew nuts and Papaya Som Tam. The Tom Yum taste a little bit salty but still acceptable when we pairing with fragrance Thai rice. For Tom Kha Chicken, i prefer if they provide a lime for sourly taste. But still good to try. Fried Chicken with Cashew nuts and Papaya Somtam is nice too. Overall, im satisfied with their cuisine and service. Definitely will come again to try another menus.
