Genyama Observation Park is a park built on Miyama in Tamana City. Miyama is 198 meters above sea level, and from the observation point at the top of the mountain, you can see Tensui Town below through the trees of Miyama, and if you look further away, you can see all the way to the Ariake Sea and the Shimabara Peninsula, making it a great viewing spot. In addition, cherry blossoms, azaleas, and hydrangeas are planted in the park, making it a great cherry blossom viewing spot where visitors can enjoy the seasonal flowers. #Spring0yenTrip I spent a heartwarming time participating in the "Baby Dohyo-iri" ceremony held at Renge-in Tanjo-ji Temple in Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture. The sight of the baby tying its small mawashi and climbing onto the ring was a heartwarming and special moment that made me feel the bond between family members. This traditional event is held to pray for the healthy growth of babies and good health, and I was able to pray for my child's growth while surrounded by the warm gazes of the local people. Combined with the solemn atmosphere of Renge-in Tanjo-ji Temple, it became an unforgettable memory.

It is equipped with various facilities such as a baseball field, a gateball field, a tennis court, and a ground golf course. From the observation deck, you can see the superb views of Tamana City, the Ariake Sea, and Unzen. If the weather is good, you can see the Uto Peninsula and Mt. Fugen. In addition, about 1,500 cherry trees bloom in early spring at the "Memorative Tree Forest", and it is bustling with many cherry blossom visitors.

#AccommodationReview "Tamana Onsen Hotel Shirasagi" ⁡ A hotel in Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture. ⁡ I stayed in a spacious Japanese-style room. I think it was about 12 tatami mats. The bath and toilet are separate. It's undeniable that it's old, but it was clean. ⁡ The hotel's large public baths include the "Shirasagi-yu" with indoor and outdoor baths, and the Greek-style bath "Parthenon", which is switched between men and women on even and odd days. There was a Venus in the "Parthenon". It's a shame that I couldn't take a photo of the bath. The water was smooth and made my skin silky smooth. ⁡ I had dinner in the large hall. Everything was very delicious and I was quite full. Breakfast was buffet style. Tokyo, Japan. First time I travelled in summer heat, and the first time I stepped on the land of the rising sun. Walking distance from my hotel in Ueno, 10 minutes to Okachimachi, the food street and shopping in a 7-storey Uniqlo & GU store. One thing for sure I learnt to appreciate!
