From this gate you can walk to Theater , Harbour and side walk along the coast of Baltic sea. This gate is quite different from origin since it was rebuilt and adapt to be more modernized. Just a little more walk from Johaniskloster and you will find this Kniepertor

One of thing you shouldnt miss in Stralsund is Johaniskloster. Founded by a Franciscan monk with permission from Rugen prince Jaromar II Nowaday it become historical place which is still well preserved. Door is open but inside building is close but you can take a picture from outside to inside. Small old houses around there is also a beautiful building. The Stralsund Aquarium is indeed one of the more popular aquariums in the area. Our family of three came to the aquarium to have a close encounter with the lovely underwater creatures, and the kids at home were so happy.
