I stayed at the Moriaki Ryokan in Ikaho Onsen, Gunma last summer. The ryokan is located near the stone steps of Ikaho Onsen and is quite large. The room had a small garden, and I really liked the view from the window. The food was also very delicious, and I enjoyed the ryokan's meals. The meat was especially tender and tasty, and I had multiple servings of rice, haha. There is an old-fashioned stone step street nearby, where you can enjoy sightseeing. I enjoyed the Japanese summer by eating tamakonnyaku and ramune. Although Gunma Prefecture is close to the metropolitan area, you need to take a bus from the station, so the travel by public transportation was long.

Mizusawa udon is one of the three major udon in Japan, and it has a chewy texture that goes down easily and is delicious. Udon, soup and tempura are all delicious. #0yentravelFebruary2025 I took the Ikaho Ropeway and went to the Ikaho Ice Rink to go ice skating⛸️❄️ There are huge ice rinks, indoors and outdoors, and it seems that the training athletes also practice here👏🏻 On the day I visited, only the indoor rink was open, but many people came to play⛄️ I bought a ticket to use the rink and a shoe rental ticket, and enjoyed skating for the first time in a long time😆 I learned a little bit when I was a child, so I'm pretty good at skating, and it was so much fun that if I kept skating, the time would fly by✨ It's also popular with families with children, and there was a support platform for children and people who can't skate!
