All Moments About Setenil
[Spain🇪🇸Setenil]
🌟Setenil de las Bodegas is one of the places I will never forget. This small Andalusian town is a place where you can feel the history of generations of people who have built their homes in the rocks. 🏞️
Walking through the town, you feel as if time has stopped.
●The Overwhelming "Cuevas del Sol" Street
The first place I visited was "Cuevas del Sol". I was amazed by the unique scenery of the white houses built quietly under the rocks.
Some of the houses are carved into the rocks, and they seem to be one with nature. In the days before air conditioning, the coldness of the rocks must have brought coolness. 😅
I imagined how comfortable the people who lived in the rocks must have been, and I was a little moved.
●Setenil de las Bodegas Castle, where you can see the town at a glance
Then I went to Setenil de las Bodegas Castle, where you can see the town at a glance. Built in the 13th century, this castle still retains remnants of its Arab past, and the view from the castle is truly spectacular. 🏰
You can see the village and the surrounding scenery in one panorama, and while you can feel the history, you are also captivated by its beauty.
●The lively and fun "Andalucia Square"
In the center of the village is "Andalucia Square." There are cafes and restaurants lined up around it, and the lively voices of the locals echo.
Tasting here and blending into the village atmosphere, you will naturally have a lively conversation with the locals and have a fun time. The beautiful view of Setenil de las Bodegas Castle from the square is one of the most memorable views.
●The taste of Setenil
And the food culture of the town is unforgettable. Setenil has a wide variety of meat dishes, and the pork dishes "chorizo" and "cerdo" are especially delicious. These dishes, which I enjoyed at local bars and restaurants, were so rich in aroma and flavor that I wanted to eat them again 🥺
The people who lived in the rock dwellings must have spent time with their families and friends around these delicious dishes. As I enjoyed the local ingredients and traditional dishes, I felt like I was a part of history 😋
Setenil de las Bodegas is not just a tourist destination, it is a place where history and culture live on.
It was a really good experience to be able to experience the charm of this town, where you can feel the history of the rock dwellings and enjoy the moment when the past and the present intersect.

🤍The White Houses of Spain🤍A Must-Visit💚
🇪🇸Serene Setenil🇪🇸
We climb to the top via the steps of Haganos Junto del Camino. The sign of Setenil is up here with a stunning backdrop of the white houses. We spent some time to admire the views from all sides, it also overlooks the little streets below. Its was just mesmerizing💕🤍
Setenil de las Bodegas is a village of about 3,000 people in the Andalucia region of Spain. The municipal area is located in the northeast of the Cadiz province and is part of the Ronda Valley. The landscape is one of the gently rolling fields of olive and almond groves across which the River Guadalporcun flows. One of the most unusual and stunning of the “Pueblos Blancos,” otherwise known as this region’s white towns, is Setenil. It is famous for its dwellings built into the rock walls of the narrow river gorge that runs through the center of town, which is the true architect of this remarkable sight. Many homes and businesses are built into and under the rock. We were drawn here by the surreal images.
From a high viewpoint here, one can really immerse in this stunning view from all angles, it truly is an amazing sight which seems so unreal but so real💙

A village with a rock roof
We built a house under a rock roof without damaging nature. Even in the summer in southern Spain where the temperature is over 40 degrees, you can cool off under the rock roof.
