This is the hearty way to enjoy breakfast in Hokkaido. Hotel MYSTAYS is a chain hotel, positioned as an affordable business hotel. A good location is a must, and it can't be too expensive, so luxurious decorations are sacrificed. The overall style is simple and plain. Although it is a bit old, it is still maintained and cleaned quite well. The 16-square-meter twin room is really small, but considering it costs only 4000 New Taiwan Dollars for two people including breakfast, it is barely acceptable! Fortunately, it was the first day of the trip, so we hadn't started shopping yet, and there wasn't too much luggage. Otherwise, it might have been a bit cramped, but it was comfortable enough.

The white pancake I ordered consisted of two fluffy pancakes topped with fermented butter, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream. Yes, the white lumps on top are all butter! Of course, it's fermented butter from Hokkaido, so you can bet it's delicious! It is also covered with condensed milk sauce. I visited Hoheikyo Onsen in Jozankei, Sapporo, Japan. It is colorless, transparent, and slightly salty.
