Postojna Caves are one of the largest karst cave systems in the world, and the experience begins with an electric train ride that whisks you 3.7 km deep into the belly of the earth. Walking among the towering stalagmites, delicate stalactites, and the famous Brilliant column felt like entering another world. It is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest cave castle in the world. A place that played a great role as a fortress ▪️The portrait in the photo is of Erazem Lueger, the 15th century castle lord. According to the guide, he was like Slovenia's Robin Hood because he shared what he took from the rich with the poor.
