Stayed at the #SheratonPortDouglasHotel, one of the premier hotels in northern Queensland, Australia, and was very lucky to be upgraded to the very high-end "Presidential Suite with One Bedroom Lagoon View". The suite is very large, covering approximately 152 square meters, with a separate living and bedroom, a luxurious large living room, a bathtub that is perfect for Internet celebrities, and the most amazing poolside terrace. The hardware and environment are extremely luxurious. The hotel is located on 147 hectares of tropical gardens and green land. It has an excellent geographical location, a golf course, and an extra-large and beautiful lagoon swimming pool. The clear blue water reflects the milky white resort hotel, which is very beautiful. There is also a private beach belonging to the hotel, and the port for taking a boat to the Great Barrier Reef is also very close by car. Five-star hotels are not cheap. The cheapest double room with garden view for two people, including breakfast, will cost more than ten thousand! Wow, Port Douglas feels like living in dream! This dreamy town really surprised me by it’s beauty. This town is all about relaxation, really tropical yet casual. Whether you’re looking for adventure or looking to chill out on the beach this seaside town has something for everyone! I only stayed here for 1 night as my trip didn’t allow to extend at the time but I so wished I had been able to stay here for a few weeks. Four mile beach was my favorite - but not because of what you may think. We found a dog rescue centre where you can help take the dogs for a walk and give them some love. (Really dog is a man’s best friend) It was so great to be able to do something so small that I really enjoyed! The beach isn’t heavily sandy, so it’s great for jogging - and the sea breeze was just perfect! Next time I go to Australia, I will be back to Port Douglas for sure! 📍Rent a car from Brisbane or other city and drive at your own pace to North Queensland. #getgoing2025 As the name suggests, this golden strip of sand stretches for roughly four miles along North Queensland’s tropical coastline. The biscuit-coloured sands are wedged between sparkling blue waters and a tropical backdrop of palm trees, which separates the beach from the adjacent town of Port Douglas. Unlike some of Australia’s better known beaches, such as Bondi and Surfers Paradise, this one’s not so tourist-focused, and as such there’s not a whole load of chain restaurants and shops close by. Perfect if you’re looking for an idyllic paradise spot, but not so much if you’re a fan of the crowds and the surf scene. That said, you can still get stuck into some watersports - kite surfing’s a particular favourite in this part of Queensland, with Four Mile Beach considered to be one of the best spots for it in the state.

The restaurant is located inside the Sheraton Mirage Resort Hotel. The restaurant's concept is Asian cuisine. We had two shrimp dishes and a Filipino stir-fry of pork, eggs and vegetables. The seafood was very fresh and delicious, as expected of a restaurant located on the seaside, and all the dishes were well seasoned and delicious. I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas, a hotel located in Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia. This is a very spacious resort hotel. The room I stayed in had a lagoon view, so I could overlook the beautiful pool and palm trees from the room. The scenery was so lovely that just being in the room was enjoyable. The bathtub was also spacious, allowing for a relaxing shower. There are several pools, ranging from deep pools for adults to very shallow pools that even children can enter. The interior has a sports bar vibe, with various sports being broadcasted. The seating is spacious, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. I had the cheeseburger. It was delicious, featuring thick Aussie beef and fresh vegetables. There was a hint of mustard-like flavor as a secret ingredient, making it very flavorful and something I'd love to have again. We arrived in Port Douglas about an hour by car from Cairns. We went by rental car, but it seems that there are also day trips on tours. We drove along the coastline, so the scenery was great and we could see the beautiful ocean. The town of Port Douglas is not big, but all the shops were stylish and the products seemed sophisticated.
