Tianfei Palace Battery was built in the 56th year of the Kangxi period of the Qing dynasty (1717). It faces south and consists of four fan-shaped batteries, which are arranged in a fan shape. The middle two batteries were bombed by Japanese aircraft in October of the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), and the top collapsed. The outer edge of the battery is built with rectangular stones, with a width of 1.65–1.8 meters, a length of 5.63 meters, and a height of 5 meters above the beach. There are three remaining iron cannons, which are placed in the fan-shaped battery facing south. The middle cannon originally had a mechanical device, with a total weight of about 10.2 tons. The cannon is engraved with the words "Made in the 10th year of the Guangxu period" and "Jiangnan Manufacturing Bureau". The right cannon weighs about 2.9 tons, and the cannon is engraved with the words "52-2-21835, East *". The left cannon weighs about 3.7 tons, and the cannon is engraved with the words "1845·* Fire". It is a national key cultural relic protection unit.

Nanwan Fort faces south, with mountains behind and the sea in front. It is located on high ground and is very imposing. The fort was built in 1894, during the 20th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. The two remaining forts were built using a mixture of glutinous rice, alum, lime, and sand. They cover an area of 207 square meters, and the remaining height of the forts is 4.15 and 4.45 meters. The large iron cannon in the middle was built in 1888 by the Jiangnan Arsenal (the predecessor of Jiangnan Shipyard) founded by Li Hongzhang. It was the most advanced Armstrong technology of the time. The iron cannon weighs about 16.7 tons in total, and the barrel can be adjusted to an angle of 20–35 degrees. The barrel is 460 cm long, and the breech has a door structure that can be opened and closed. The base below can rotate 360 degrees. The weight and size of the iron cannon are the largest of any ancient cannon. Two of these cannons were cast, but only one remains intact. Apart from the surface of the fort being weathered and eroded and some parts of the iron cannon being damaged, it is basically intact and is known as the "Number One Cannon in the World." It is a national key cultural relic protection unit.

The Wuyanmiao Bridge spans Zhaojing Port from the north to the south. It has been recorded in the Ming Dynasty and was rebuilt in the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929). The three-hole stone arch bridge has a total length of 39 meters, a width of 3.1 meters, a central hole with a height of 5.2 meters, an arch span of 10.1 meters, a side hole with a height of 2.8 meters, and an arch span of 6 meters. The stone bridge adopts the technology of thin piers and continuous arches, and the arches are built vertically and in parallel sections. There are 37 stone steps in the north and south. There are stone railings and square plain pillars. The railing at the highest point of the stone bridge is designed as a backrest, which not only strengthens the bridge body but also facilitates pedestrians to sit. Iron components are riveted between the balustrade stones, the pillars and the ground rivets, and glutinous rice juice is poured between the components. In the middle of the stone bridge, there is a swirl pattern of thousand-jin stone relief. There are 4 pairs of bridge pillars. On the west side, "Sail eastward to Sanmaokou of Jalian Lian, and drive south to look at the top of Jiufeng in the distance." In the middle, "Southern hunting crossing, Jinggong Temple, is still called Wanxi, and the west area along Dayitang has been named forever. "Belongs to Zhaojing"; on the east side "Half Moon Yan Yan Zhaojing Wufang Gate, Changhong Ring Wanhe Three County Traffic", in the middle "Across the bank Gongxingxu south overlooks the sea, the sand leads to Han River in the north, and the clear moon shadow of Hengtang connects to Zepu in the east "Xiaochuan". The top of the stone on the east side is engraved with the inscription "The Great Stone Bridge of the Wucheng Temple was rebuilt in the spring of the 18th year of the Republic of China", and the stone on the west side is engraved with the inscription "The Big Stone Bridge on the Wuchian Temple". The lower end of the middle-hole coupon slab is engraved with the surname of the person who donated money to build the bridge and the amount of money donated. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Zhejiang Province.

Zhang's Residence was the former residence of Zhang Qinghe, the former general manager of Lao Dingfeng Sauce Garden. It is a Republic of China building and a cultural relic protection site in Pinghu City. The residence faces north and is a brick-wood structure with a front and back entrance. There is a courtyard to the north, covering an area of about 400 square meters. The east side of the courtyard is a wing room, surrounded by fire walls, with a wharf to the south. The main hall has two floors, three rooms wide, and two rooms deep, with an outer corridor on the north side. There is a corner staircase at the back of the west side room connecting to the second floor. The house layout is reasonable and complete, fully reflecting the layout characteristics of traditional residential buildings in the Jiangnan water town. On November 3, 2018, the People's Government of Pinghu City, Nanjing University, Shanghai Normal University, and Wenzhou University jointly held the "Qian Nanyang Academic Achievements and the 8th Southern Opera International Academic Seminar," and the Qian Nanyang Memorial Hall was officially opened here. The second floor of the old house is the Qian Nanyang Memorial Hall, displaying Mr. Qian's life information, and the first floor is the "Hanshang" Weekend Opera Garden.

Pinghu City God Temple is the oldest building in Pinghu City, dating back to the same time as the establishment of Pinghu County, about 600 years ago. It is dedicated to the Chinese folk and Taoist deity who protects the city. The main hall was built in the fifth year of the Xuande reign of the Ming Dynasty (1430), at the beginning of the establishment of Pinghu County, when the county magistrate Wang Jian selected a site 150 steps east of the county seat to build the temple. It was originally dedicated to the Tangwu Marshal Zilu as the City God of Pinghu. In the sixteenth year of the Chenghua reign, the county magistrate Li Zhi used the money he had saved to buy land, about three zhang wide, and built a road to the south for the deity, and rebuilt the hall and the gate. During the Jiajing period, the county magistrate Gu Tingdui built a three-bay pavilion for worship, and the ancient cypress trees in front of the hall, which were planted in the Song Dynasty, are now nearly 600 years old. However, due to the ravages of time and the baptism of war, only the main hall of the City God Temple remains, which is the oldest and most valuable traditional brick and wood structure building in Pinghu City. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Pinghu City.

Nanhetou Historical and Cultural Block is located on the west bank of Donghu Scenic Area, a national 4A-level tourist attraction in Pinghu. Covering an area of about 360 mu, it is the largest historical and cultural block in Pinghu, with 136 cultural relics and historical buildings. The overall architecture of Nanhetou Historical and Cultural Block reflects the style of Jiangnan ancient towns in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. The houses, courtyards, bridges, and alleys in the block are all symbols of history. Various holiday-themed landscapes highlight cultural characteristics and are in harmony with the business forms and architectural styles of the block. Through projects such as water system renovation, greening landscape, lighting, east square, and external environment layout, the quality of Nanhetou Historical and Cultural Block has been effectively improved. Nanhetou Historical and Cultural Block is the most core urban memory and cultural root of Pinghu, consisting of Nanhetou Provincial Historical and Cultural Protection Area and Nanhetou Provincial Historical and Cultural Block. The business forms of Nanhetou Historical and Cultural Block meet the consumption needs of shopping, catering, entertainment, and leisure.
