Wat Pa Mok Worawihan
Wat Pa Mok Worawihan, Ang Thong Province
🙏It is an ancient temple from the Sukhothai period. There is a reclining Buddha vihara, which is in the style of late Ayutthaya architecture. The roof is shaped like a soft temple base, curved like a ship. Inside, there is a reclining Buddha, one of the most beautiful in Thailand. The Buddha image is made of brick and mortar covered with gold. It is 22.58 meters long from the top of the head to the end of the feet.
🪷The Khian Vihara is located in front of the reclining Buddha vihara, south of the Sala Chanuan. It was built during the reign of King Thaisa. It used to be the residence of King Thaisa. In front of the vihara, there is a ship made of brick and plastered with cement. There is a pagoda in the middle of the ship.
🙏The 4 Buddha footprint pavilion is located between the Khian Vihara and the reclining Buddha vihara. The Buddha footprint is carved in stone.

Inside the chapel, Wat Pa Mok Worawihan, Ang Thong Province
Wat Pa Mok Worawihan is an ancient temple from the Sukhothai period. It was originally two adjacent temples, "Wat Chee Phakhao" and "Wat Talat". However, due to the currents of the water eroding the temple, they had to be combined into one temple. King Sanphet III ordered Phraya Ratchasongkhram to slow down and drag it away from the original river. (King Taisara) came to supervise the slowing down of the Buddha statue to avoid the currents of the riverbank erosion. He moved the Buddha statue to the new temple at Wat Talat, 168 meters from the riverbank. He then ordered Wat Talat and Wat Chee Phakhao to be combined into one temple and named it Wat Pa Mok because there were many jasmine trees in that area. The Royal Chronicles state that before King Naresuan the Great led his army to fight the Crown Prince, he came to gather his troops and pay homage to this reclining Buddha statue.

#Secret location #Recommend delicious restaurant
This is an old-fashioned noodle shop in Pa Mok that has been made since the grandparents' generation. The taste is very delicious. Served in a clay bowl like this makes it even more delicious. Here, people tend to eat it sweet. If you don't like it sweet, tell them. The fried dumplings are very delicious. Here, the family helps sell. If you come at noon, there will be a lot of people, so you have to wait in line a bit. But overall, it's very delicious. You have to try it for lunch. Every time I think of this place, it's near my work.
