I'll introduce you to a delicious restaurant in Kichijoji, a charming neighborhood in Tokyo. 2️⃣~3️⃣ Kayashima I recommend Kayashima, a restaurant that appeared on Lonely Gourmet! The program had the Neapolitan and Hamburger sets from the Wakuwaku sets, and I ordered the same ones. It was a taste that made me laugh. It wasn't anything special, but the sweet and sour taste of spaghetti with ketchup brought back old memories! It was delicious. It's a local restaurant that many locals visit. 4️⃣ Shiawase no Pancakes Shiawase = happiness, so if you take a bite, you'll be happy just like the name of the restaurant! A bite of the sweet and fluffy pancake will make you forget all the fatigue of the day. 5️⃣~6️⃣ Satou This is Satou, a menchikatsu restaurant that's been around for over 100 years! This is a popular restaurant loved by locals, and there is always a long line whether you go in the morning, at lunch, or in the evening. They also sell other fried foods besides menchikatsu, but the best menu at this restaurant is menchikatsu. When you take a bite of freshly fried menchikatsu, the meat juice bursts out and you will automatically applaud. The line also moves quickly, so it is a restaurant worth waiting in line to eat at! 7️⃣ Kanekoya A restaurant that always has a long line and makes you wonder what it is. It is a restaurant that sells tendon, so the line was long before it opened. I thought it was a little greasy and not worth waiting in line to eat at, but the locals praised it as the best tendon restaurant. I guess it didn't suit my taste. However, since it is a restaurant that Kichijoji residents count on one hand, it wouldn't be bad to visit once! 8️⃣Cheonha Sushi A place where you can eat sushi until you burst at the price. There are many menus that you have to order yourself, so I recommend this place to people who can speak a little Japanese. I thought this was the Musashino Place library that was built in front of Musashisakai Station, but it was more than that 🫢 It is a new complex that supports not only library functions, but also civic activities, youth activities, and lifelong learning 📚. #TokyoItinerary Kichijoji is a quiet paradise in a corner of Tokyo and a habitat for the souls of urbanites. In the early morning, I strolled in Inokashira Park. The morning light penetrated the treetops and the lake was sparkling, like a tranquil watercolor painting. In the park, surrounded by small bridges, flowing water and lush greenery, people walk in groups of two or three, some are strolling, some are boating, and everything seems to have slowed down. Leaving the park, we walked into the shopping street full of human touch. Whether it is a handicraft shop or a bookstore filled with the aroma of coffee, it exudes a strong personality and warmth. I stopped at an antique grocery store and looked through old items, as if traveling through time to find another side of life. In the evening, the lights of the small street restaurants begin to come on. I chose an izakaya, ordered a few special dishes, and felt the unique warmth and liveliness of this neighborhood. The weather was not good either. It was drizzling, my hair was sticky, and my mood became low. The streets are spotlessly clean, without the noise of traffic. Walking among them, you can feel the long-lost relaxation and freedom, and your body and mind are healed. The cat castle in Kichijoji is so cute 🥣 It looks like it came out of a Hayao Miyazaki anime. The interior space of the castle is not large, but it is unique and shaped like a small and exquisite castle. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you have stepped into a fantasy anime world. There are craftsmen showing off their unique skills, and it is full of the warmth of life. Kichijoji is really suitable for travelers like me who don’t have a full schedule. You can finish the tour in about an afternoon. However, everyone must remember to speak softly when taking photos. The scenery around me made me feel relaxed and happy. Day 2: Immerse yourself in art and culture The next day, I decided to explore the cultural side of Kichijoji. First, I came to the art museum in Kichijoji, where many works by local artists are exhibited. The paintings are full of the breath of life and the expression of emotions.
