Angkhang is not deserted.
One of the most memorable experiences was camping at Doi Ang Khang…
📍We first traveled by a sweet cold bus, boarding the bus at Chang Phueak Station, Chiang Mai. We sat there and felt the cold air coming through the windows. Even though we were wearing two layers of clothing, it was still very cold.😅 The bus we took was full of people, both tourists like us and locals. We left our accommodation behind CMU at around 5am and arrived at Chang Phueak Station at around 6am. We took the Chiang Mai-Tha Ton bus. Actually, if you ask people around there and tell them that we are going to Ang Khang, you can. We will tell you which bus it is, but it would be good to prepare some information, in case we get lost.😂 It took us about 2 hours to ride up the mountain, picking up and dropping off people along the way. We sat there and relaxed until we arrived.55555 Finally, we reached the starting point, which was in front of Wat Hat Samran. There were already songthaews waiting for service. It cost about 80 baht per person. If it was full, they would leave.
📍When we arrived, we went to the park's camping area. We rented a tent and chose a good location. In the evening, we ordered a barbecue pork to eat with our friends. The cold weather, eating hot grilled pork is so awesome. If you want to know how awesome it is, you have to try it. 😋
📍In the morning, we woke up to see the sunrise. The morning sunlight was a beautiful soft orange. The view from the tent we were sleeping in was so great. Oh, when we went, the cherry blossoms weren't in bloom yet. Let's just look at the plum blossoms first. They're just as beautiful. They're small and white and cute. ❤️
If you want to experience nature outside of Chiang Mai, Doi Ang Khang is a great choice. You can pitch a tent and watch the sunrise. It's so beautiful and impressive. You'll never forget it. 🥰👍
