#traveldiaries Lalapot has been popular recently and many would know the trending shop at Mount Austin. However, there have been mixed reviews regarding that shop. I would recommend this luo da shu lalapot instead! Dine in comfort without the queue and enjoy delicious lalapot broth! This is because this place is still a hidden gem and known among locals! Their lala is super fresh and no sand. Also do add the snow beef slices. The beef is super tender and melts in the mouth!! We ordered another plate because it was that good. Added another serving of white clams because it was good!! The other table did the same too! Condiments are unlimited and free. Masai is a small little town in South of Malaysia,near to Pasar Gudang. The murals are super nice and people can feel the afford of each mural. The murals are near to the Masai Bus Terminal. 20minutes to see all the murals and you may then visit the main Chinese temple,xuantian shangdi Miao,which is more than 100years of history. #weekendgetaway Food is an integral part of the itinerary when considering or discussing a weekend getaway. Today, I will introduce a remarkable restaurant called Warakayua Japanese Restaurant. I had the pleasure of visiting this place during my weekend getaway. Located in Johor Bahru, it is conveniently situated approximately 20 minutes away from the JB custom. The presence of floating lanterns outside therestaurant evoked an Oriental ambiance. Upon entering, the restaurant exuded an atmosphere of sophistication and tasteful decor. The food is noteworthy and reasonably priced. I spent 50 ringgit on an all-inclusive meal consisting of sashimi sushi, which was delectable. If you ever visit JB, it is highly recommended to dine at this restaurant.

From less than $5 sgd you can already get an appetiser that’s super filling and the bill will always come under 100 RM even with their signatures! I just attended a very romantic and intimate wedding at Rowan and Parsley in Johor Bahru. It is a garden 🪴 cafe in the day and is opened for events and wedding functions. It seems to be a popular wedding venue for its photogenic interior and exterior. Location is not so mainstream but it’s totally worth a trip to check it out. The set up was totally different from the tradition Chinese wedding. It’s so lovely to be surrounded by luscious greens. Lots of effort was put into the decoration and the space is perfect for a small wedding. It gives a rustic and industrial vibes. Good wise was okay as it’s a pre-selected meal by the couples. The appetiser - avocado 🥑 with prawn was good. Have to give the dessert - apple crumble with ice cream a big shoutout as it served as a really nice end to the meal. The atmosphere was very romantic and pleasant. There’s also an outdoor area where couples can hold their ceremony. It was a great experience ever staying at t his executive suite of Renaissance Johor Bahru. Staff are excellent, so professional which truly reflecting marriot hospitality. Room wise, It is super spacious with separate living room and bedroom. there are also 2 huge TV and super spacious bathroom completed with bathtub and walking wardrobe. Relax, Enjoy and Eat. Plenty of food choices. Worth visiting once. In case you want to sit and eat your street food, find a hotel with a rooftop garden. Nice view overlooking the area with a nice ambience.

(3) To avoid the peak hours (5pm to 7pm) for room check-in which I was experiencing long Q and waiting time on the process. However, the staff are very friendly and polite. (4) If you not booked with BLD package, you may get local food (Chinese/Malay), Fast Food and/or Korean & Japanese cuisine easily with walking distance. Convenient store also available. #staycation "Old but gold" This is how i described this well maintained marriot property in Johor Bahru city centre. Location wise a bit off centre, but it is still accessable by car or but taxi to JB central. 📍LOCATION No 2, Jalan Permas 11, Bandar Baru Permas Jaya. 81750 Johor Bahru. less than 7km to JB sentral. My staycation at this property was great overall. I love the classic yet well maintained room even it has been almost 20 years since it was build. It has a nice Large lobby as well. Super friendly and well trained front staff made this staycation more enjoyable. Limited number of Room with direct pool access are available for those looking a fun and easy pool access from the room. I had a chance to visit their executive lounge with afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Foods were super delicious and quite varitey option were available. Breakfast spread were brilliant as well as their taste. Even there are more hotels around Johor Bahru for travelers to choose from, this property should be on top of the list for any staycationer around Johor Bahru. #awesomepic

It was emergency stay, the price for 2 nights is very cheap. However, even the price is cheap the room is stilll quite comfortable to sleep on and I do get a quite nice sleep. For those do need emergency stay, can consider this hotel, because the price is cheap even urgent booking and the room is acceptable to sleep. It’s always a pleasant to visit this restaurant for dinner time! If seafood is a religion, this place is a shrine, as they have treated the sea creatures with the utmost respect. Nice outdoor ambiance with live band performing songs while having your dinner, they also have indoor seating which is only ok. The menu features a lot of variety of mostly seafood in a variety of Chinese/Asian cooking techniques. Love the bamboo clam,Service is outstanding!
