Stayed here for 5 days 4 nights to perform Umrah. This hotel was sooo pretty! If you're lucky, you can get the hotel room with Ka'ba and Masjid al-Haram view. It is super close to the main Mosque, and such a comfortable hotel to stay. They also have a beautiful restaurant with delicious menu. It suits the taste of Asian and European. MASJID Al-Haram atau Masjidil Haram adalah masjid yang terpenting bagi umat Islam kerana sejarah dan peranannya terhadap umat Islam seluruh dunia....Masjid ini terletak di Kota Makkah dan dibina mengelilingi Kaabah, iaitu Kiblat umat Islam apabila mengerjakan solat.... Ia sebagai tempat utama menunaikan salah satu Rukun Islam, menunaikan haji. Sebahagian daripada rukun haji perlu dilakukan dalam kawasan Masjidil Haram, iaitu Tawaf Ifadah, ialah mengelilingi Kaabah sebanyak tujuh kali bermula pada sudut Al-Hajarul Aswad menjadikan Baitullah di sebelah kiri dan berjalan ke hadapan. Tawaf hendaklah dilakukan dalam Masjidil Haram dan di luar Hijir Ismail. Ia juga menjadi tempat umrah, mengunjungi Baitullah di Makkah dan melakukan ihram, tawaf, sai dan bertahallul mengikut tertib. #makkah #holy

It’s a small museum but still you can see many ancient collections of Masjid Haram. Many historical things for you to gain more knowledge about the holy place. I had a wonderful times by reading all the descriptions and details about the story of Kaabah. I’m really honoured to visit this place. Will come back again! Great display on how a Kiswa (the cloth of Holy Kaabah) was made. The staff speak Arabic so I didn’t understand about the explanations. However, it’s a great journey and a nice opportunity to visit. Notes: sometimes, people cannot go there because it’s not open for public view. I went there with a help from friend, who lives in Makkah. Parking 🚗: I won’t prefer driving by yourself here. So i ask for help. My friend dropped me near the entrance gate. The city of Makkah is really different from my place. This place is surrounded by concrete buildings. It’s hard to find greenery. Looks like this place is full of desert. You can see all the high mountains. I also visited the camps in the valley called ‘Mina’. Pilgrims head there to their Hajj. Tents were set up to host the pilgrims. Getting There - You can choose to take a taxi or now there are fast haramain trains available too. Attractions - Haram sharif, Holy Kaaba, Ziyarat to all the historic places such as where the Quran was revealed, where Hazrat Adam AS and Hawa AS met for the first time after coming down from Jannah, stories of why we have to sacrifice an animal (spot where the prophet Ibrahim AS was tested and ram came in its place), Safa Marwa etc. Hotels - so many hotels nearby, we stayed in double tree Hilton Jabal Omar. Excellent customer service and various breakfast options. Food & Restaurants - So many branches of Al Baik nearby, Al Tajaz, KFC, pizza shops and other cuisines such as Indian, Pakistani and Chinese. There are numerous stalls too and popular ice cream shops such as Baskin Robbins. Dessert shops such as Dunkin’ Doughnuts. One of the best places to rise your dua (pray), reflecting your sins, pardon for forgiveness of Allah. First sight of Kaaba while doing Umra/Tawaf. After entering the mosque, keep your gaze lowered until you reach the Mataf area, which is the open space where Tawaf takes place. When you’re ready, with humility, awe and reverence, lift your gaze to set sight on the beatific vision of the Holy Kaaba. Upon seeing the Kaaba for the first time, raise your hands and make Dua with the utmost concentration and sincerity as this is among those places where prayers are answered. Remember to recite Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ when making Dua.

No matter which hotel you stay in Mecca, their breakfast was so great. A must try from Falafel, Samosa, Mandy or even Makbous and Shawarma if you not prefer something too heavy.
