[Shizuoka] As expected from Shizuoka! A card company lounge with a wide variety of teas🍵
This was my first time using the lounge at Shizuoka Airport. There was a huge variety of teas! As expected from Shizuoka!
It's outside the restricted area, so you can use it before and after your flight.◎
Maybe because it was the first thing I did in the morning, or maybe because it was hard to find, there were no other passengers and I was able to relax!
There was also a soft drink bar and a soup bar. There were no snacks.
If you have a gold card or higher, you may be eligible for free entry, so please check!

I went to a cafe attached to a surf stadium that opened in Makinohara City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
I was able to enjoy snacks while watching the pool that creates artificial waves so you can enjoy surfing all year round!
It was fun just to watch!
If you just want to watch from above, it's a free spot where you can enjoy watching for free, so please go and check it out!

The quiet
The quiet city of Shizuoka was so nice. The seafood was good, the air was fresh, and most of all, the tea fields seen in Shizuoka, the city of green tea, were the best scenery.

Features of Japanese airports
#HawaiiAirlineEvent There is a small but impressive viewpoint at Shizuoka Airport. You can see the runway from the observation deck, and on a nice day, you can see Mt. Fuji in the distance, which was really amazing.
I stayed here without realizing how much time had passed because I could see the planes taking off and landing up close, and it was the perfect place to relax and heal for a while before the flight. There weren't many tourists, so it was quiet and peaceful, which was even better. It was a small but definitely impressive airport viewpoint.

Phulumkhum Temple, Kham Soi Industrial Estate, Mukdahan
“If we don’t make more merit and only eat the old merit, it will eventually run out. It’s like water in a jar. If we don’t add more, it will eventually run out.” 🙏 Wat Phu Lum Khum
- Located at Ban Nong Nok Khian, Rom Klao Subdistrict, Nikhom Kham Soi District, Mukdahan Province.
🙏 How to get there
- From Kalasin, there is the Kalasin-Mukdahan Expressway.
- From Yasothon or Amnat Charoen, drive straight to Nikhom Kham Soi. Before reaching Nikhom Kham Soi on the left, there will be a sign for the entrance for about 10 kilometers.
- From Mukdahan, drive until you reach the Nikhom Kham Soi traffic light intersection. Drive straight ahead, there will be a sign telling you to make a U-turn on the right, then turn left and drive straight for about 10 kilometers.
🙏 The temple is open and closed from 06:30 - 17:00.
- The way up to the temple is a hillside from the temple gate. The way up is very narrow, be careful of oncoming cars. There are also sharp curves.
- I like this temple very much because it is on a mountain, but the temple has built a large reservoir for its own use.
- There are buildings on the temple. Whether it is a large bell-shaped pagoda, the top has a beautiful view, you can see wind turbines too. #Wat Phu Lum Khum #Ban Nong Nok Khian #Nikhom Kham Soi #Mukdahan Province #Go to the temple to make merit #Please follow #Dhamma Sanchar Bhikkhu

Explore Fuji with trip
Traveling to Japan, I mainly use Trip.com to book hotels. The prices are good and not more expensive than other apps. We traveled on our own, so we mainly used Trip.com to book hotels because the reviews were accurate. They told us about various locations, transportation, shopping areas, and routes. We traveled to Fuji in November. The weather was starting to get cold. The mountains were beautiful. On the way up, the leaves were changing colors. It was very beautiful. In Tokyo, it was starting to get cold. #Places to visit in Japan #Travel to Japan on your own

After arriving at Shizuoka Airport, I wondered what to eat...
There is a 7-Eleven on the first floor, but I feel like sitting down and eating🤔
Should I go up to the second floor and get pasta? Soba? Udon? Ramen? Go up to the third floor and get sushi?
After much deliberation, I decided to have a matcha latte and toast at the cafe at the back of the second floor☺️
I was able to charge my phone while eating🔌
The toast and latte were both delicious😊
I'd like to eat there again the next time I use the airport🍞

Introducing a hidden spot at Shizuoka Airport!
I always looked at it from below and wondered how to get there, but then I discovered a staircase💡
When I reached the top of the staircase, I found a wonderful space💓
It was said to be introducing Shizuoka Prefecture and Yamanashi Prefecture, and there were various exhibits.
There was also a tasting corner where you could sample high-quality tea, sake from famous sake breweries in Shizuoka Prefecture, and great wine from Yamanashi Prefecture🍷
You can borrow a sake cup-sized tasting cup for 500 yen🥤
I tried three types of tea and one type of wine so I wouldn't get drunk on the plane😅
All three types of tea had completely different tastes😳
If you're using Shizuoka Airport, please stop by☺️
