The trip to Moc Chau to pick plums, visit Chieng Khoa waterfall + visit Ba Khan by a girl carrying a tripod alone This weekend, surely everyone will go to Moc Chau to pick plums a lot, I would like to share with you my trip combining Moc Chau and Ba Khan (Mai Chau-Hoa Binh) - I took the 4pm-8pm trip to Moc Chau, ate and rested, then the next morning went to Na Ka, Ban On to pick plums, then went to Chieng Khoa waterfall. These 3 places can be combined in 1 day, I went from 8am to 7pm and returned to the Homestay (I rode my motorbike quite slowly, played in Ban On and Na Ka until past noon, still had time to play 3 hours at Chieng Khoa waterfall) - The next morning I took the 7am trip from Moc Chau to Ba Khan Hoa Binh, . Going from Moc Chau to Ba Khan, if you take a Limo, you get off at Phu Cuong intersection, then call a taxi to continue into Ba Khan resort, about 13 km away, the taxi fare is also very cheap (120), the surrounding rice fields are green and very beautiful. If you are fascinated by Ta Dung, Dak Nong but have not had the chance to go, Ba Khan is also a good choice. Ba Khan sells entrance tickets for guests who do not stay at the resort and rents rooms by the hour, everyone can choose to suit their time. It is considered as Ha Long on land. But because it is located near famous tourist destinations such as Ban Lac Mai Chau, Moc Chau Son La, Ba Khan is also considered a sleeping paradise. Anyway, tourism here is not yet developed much. ✅ WHERE IS BA KHAN TOURISM? Ba Khan is a commune in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province. Located at the foot of Thung Khe pass (or Da Trang). 140km from Hanoi, 70km from Hoa Binh city. There are only a few eco-tourism destinations in Ba Khan, quite a few because this road was only built a few years ago. Moreover, as I said above, because it is located near famous tourist areas, most people will choose to stay in Ban Lac Mai Chau more, and then will only choose Ba Khan as a stop to sightsee. ✅ WHAT TO DO IN BA KHAN ?? A land of majestic natural beauty that is still very wild. Just go out here and you will know: Empty, desolate... Ba Khan is completely suitable for those who want to relax, experience travel, community travel and eco-tourism back to nature. Like to see the scenery with enough mountains, enough rivers, enough clouds and watch the sunset, sunrise. Importantly, the population is sparse, there are no people, no factories, extremely fresh. ✅ HOW TO GO TO BA KHAN? There are many ways to get here so there will be many options for you. 🚌 Go to Ba Khan by bus: 🔹🔹 Method 1: If traveling by bus from Hanoi, you can catch a bus at Yen Nghia or My Dinh bus station. The popular bus route to Ba Khan is Hanoi - Son La with a ticket price of about 100,000 VND/person (because you get off along the way, the ticket price is only like that). The car will pass the Phu Cuong market intersection - Tan Lac district. The market intersection is right at the foot, before going up the slope to Thung Khe pass. Then you can take a taxi or motorbike taxi to Ba Khan about 17km. Remember to negotiate the price in advance. 🔹🔹 Method 2: Take the resort's private bus, this is probably the easiest. You just need to find, contact and book a room at the resort in Ba Khan. There are only 2 resorts here, not many choices for you. 🚗🛵 Go to Ba Khan by private car: 🔹🔹 Route 1: From Hanoi - Hoa Binh. Follow National Highway 6, through Hoa Binh city, and go another 50km to the foot of Thung Khe pass in Phu Cuong commune, on the right hand side there will be a milestone indicating 17km to Ba Khan. ✅ EXPENSES If not counting gas and transportation costs, our family will spend less than 2 million/person. Of which, the room fee is 1,500,000 VND, free breakfast, the remaining 2 meals are about 500 to 600,000 VND each, and the food is so full that you can't finish it all. The rest is snacks and drinks.

BAKHAN TOURISM - HOT SPRING BATHING EXPERIENCE Bo Am hot spring (or Mo Am) is located in Phu Mau village, Chieng Yen commune, Van Ho district, Son La province, about 25 km from Bakhan Village Resort with a travel time of about 45 minutes, beautiful natural scenery, affordable cost, an ideal place to experience relaxation when visitors come to Bakhan Village Resort. This is a natural hot spring area flowing from the mo, with a temperature of about 35-40 degrees Celsius, exploited for tourism by local cooperatives. The wild, idyllic natural scenery and pure mineral springs make this place a favorite tourist destination for local people, but are not yet known to visitors from afar. The spring source flows directly from the mo stream, divided into three levels. The top level has the highest temperature, at a warm level. The temperature gradually decreases in the following levels. The bottom floor is cool, not too cold, so it is suitable for bathing and swimming. The clear blue mineral stream is at the bottom, the temperature is warm and pleasant. Relaxing in the water and watching the wild scenery will dispel fatigue, making the body healthier. From #Hanoi, take a minibus for two hours to reach #Meizhou #maichau Get away from the city and head into the mountains of #Vietnam. The temperature is much cooler, and the guesthouse is in the middle of the rice fields. The rice seedlings were not planted in February, so it would be more beautiful if the whole area were green in April or May. The main activity in Mai Chau is cycling through the rice fields. There are no convenience stores, no high-end restaurants, Meals can only be cooked by the guesthouse host. It’s also a new experience to be able to taste real Vietnamese farm food! Pu Luong Nature Reserve is nearby Mai Chau After the beginning of spring, farmers are busy turning the soil. I was lucky enough to see the rice fields that had just been planted. Obviously technology has advanced. But Vietnamese farmers still retain the old farming methods. I spent some time studying the operation of the waterwheel. #favouriteitinerary Spent 3 fantastic nights at the lodge! It’s an ecolodge so don’t expect a luxury resort, but they have everything one can need including a pool, a spa (heard from other guests the massages were firm, yet relaxing), a restaurant, a nightly dance show (a different program every night I was there) & Wi-Fi throughout. Room was large, clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed (firm like most hotels in Asia, but not the firmest bed I’ve encountered), a large walk-in shower (no tub, but think that varies by room), an outdoor shower, usual toiletries, & complimentary water, fruit and rice wine. No tv in the room, but Wi-Fi is sufficient for streaming if needed. Mild annoyance: water pressure in the shower was a little low, whereas the outdoor shower was intense. Had to go outside to rinse my hair or it would have taken a long while. The food at the restaurant was delicious, portions were quite large & prices were reasonable. There are a couple nearby villages (under half mile) that are easily walkable, but the roads have no street lights, so unless you have transportation, you’re stuck there after the sun sets. They certainly could have set high food prices but they didn’t, so that’s a big plus. The included breakfast had multiple Vietnamese and western options. Tours & activities are available. I opted for a full day bike tour that covered about 21 miles and included a tasty lunch at a local homestay. All in all, the Mai Chau Ecolodge is a great option with a friendly and accommodating staff if you want some time away from Hanoi.

I went to Mai Chau Lodge because it has a new glamping place. It was very hot because it was summer, but it was cool in the evening and I was able to enjoy a quiet rest. The glamping tents were so pretty, and the rocking chairs inside were so comfortable that I sat there all day long and enjoyed it. The bathroom and shower room are separate from the outside, so if you are sensitive, make a reservation at the hotel. But since they use one bathroom for every two tents, it is not too crowded and it is okay. If you are sensitive to bugs, it is also good to make a reservation at the hotel room. Get away from the city and enjoy a drink with friends at glamping at night. #Couples

#VietnamTravel I am very happy with my experience at Mai Chau Ecolodge. The food is great for the price, the room is big and clean, and the staff are very friendly. I forgot my dress after check out and they were kind enough to send it back to Hanoi. Highly recommended We had a wonderful stay here - 4 nights. The room had a beautiful view of the rice fields, comfortable bed, hot shower, spacious room. But what made it so special was the staff, they always had a smile on their face, were very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Most spoke English very well. The breakfast selection was very good and we had dinner and lunch here and both were delicious. The service was great. I can also recommend the massage which was very relaxing. We rented bikes and explored the area nicely. We took the shuttle bus back from Hanoi. It was less than 4 hours with a short break in between. Beautiful cabin, beautiful view from the front deck, good food in the cabin, and they put on a show for us with folk dancers (we could join in the “pole dancing”). They had bikes to use and the “bike path” was paved so it wasn’t dangerous. You are surrounded by rice fields and villages and mountains… beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
