The Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a special ancient village in Guizhou Province of China. It is home to the Miao people, a minority group in China. Getting there: Get to Kaili city (in Guizhou province) by train. Then get a taxi to the village. A private car is also an option and you just need to search online for a company - there are many English speaking ones that can take you. You can take a train to Kaili and then a taxi to 西江千户苗寨 (180rmb) and stay at a hotel there in the middle of everything for less than 200/night. Xi Jiang Miao village in Guizhou province is a stunning place to walk around and photograph. As a budding photographer, I just loved walking through the narrow streets and climbing to the top of the village for a birds eye view of the entire village.
