Hotel: Vannee Golden Sands Beachfront Resort Location: 120/1 Moo 6, Tambon Baan Tai, Amphur Koh Phangan, Suratthani,, Koh Phangan, Thailand We got to Koh Phangan (Haad Rin Pier) from Koh Samui (Big Buddha Pier) by ferry and it took us around 50 min. I did spend a lot of time to choose this hotel and I was not disappointed. During full moon this place can be crowded, but we arrived a few days after, so the place was super calm and chill. Great choice for breakfast, very attentive service, poolside looking room. Everything was great (especially swimming pools with sea water!). The hotel has the laundry service with reasonable prices. Vannee Golden Sands is located a bit further from the noisy streets of Phangan, but still very close (10 min walking). Buri Rasa Village Resort is a wonderful choice if you don’t want to move around much, just stay in and around the resort for a few days to enjoy the beach and hotel facilities. The hotel is not very big so you see familiar faces everyday. The rooms are simple but well designed. They have nice little touches such as flip flops and beach basket for you to use. They have a sofa which was good enough for my 3 year old son to sleep at night so we didn’t need an extra bed. We have a ground floor room just steps away from the pool so it was very convenient. The beach is also just a few steps from the pool. The best part is the service, from the reception to the beach staff they are all so friendly, relaxed but efficient. The breakfast was not the biggest spread but everything was good. Within walking distance you have other local restaurants, supermarkets, shops and massage, everything you need very close by! Kho Phangan is truly a gem! The island welcomes you with amazing beaches, chill atmosphere and wild jungles. Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan, also known as Wat Pho (or Wat Po) is not far from the Grand Palace and houses a gold Reclining Buddha, 15 meters high and 46 meters long, built in 1832. They say is is good luck to leave coin offerings in the temple, and you can purchase a bowl of coins inside and drop them in the offering bowls. Most beautiful Buddha statue I have ever seen in my life. You just enter into the place and you will be amazed to see the statue itself. Very vast area to walk around. It cost 200 bhat per person. I have covered most of the area but it takes a day to completely cover The Grand Palace and The Reclining Buddha. Loved it. A real cultural treasure and must do if you have arts,architecture, historical, cultural, or spiritual interests. #wecreate

I booked a joint ticket on Koh Phangan on the fast ferry with Lomprayah. The cost from the island to Donsak and shuttle to Surat Thani Airport was 950 Bhat or about $30 USD (200 CNY). It's a good idea to buy this a few days before your flight. Then you check in about an hour before departure time. For myself this was 10am. The ferry leaves at 11:OO. We made our way to Donsak pier with a short stop in Samui. This seemed to take just over an hour and half. Depending on passengers loading and off loading you should arrive around 2:30 pm. We were a little slower on a big bus so arrived closer to 3pm. My flight was at 6 so plenty of time, but I would advise giving yourself ample connection time. The bus ride from Donsak Pier in Surat Thani Airport was the longer less comfortable part with no bathroom stops. Otherwise, still the faster way to fly out of the area. Surat Thani Airport has modernised a bit and departures are up on the second floor.#mytripvlog

This Koh Phangan trip is so good. We stayed at Dakanada Villa Resort. The sunset view is so awesome. The room is right on the beach. In the morning, there are many people playing skiing, sea activities, very lively. The price is 3,095 baht per night, but the view is so good. 5 stars for sure. #Sleep and relax in a beautiful place

I remember the first full moon party I went to was ten years ago, but this year I had a lot more fun than the last time. We started by sitting and drinking beer and watching the sunset on the beach at the resort, then dressed up to go to the full moon party at Haad Rin. We walked there because we were afraid that we would be too drunk to ride our motorcycles back home. The entrance fee is 200 baht. They have buckets of beer and liquor for sale. You can stand and dance at any shop that you like and enjoy the music. I personally bought a glass of ice and beer from 7-Eleven and carried it around the event to drink. 😅😅😅

Another recommended hotel when visiting Koh Phangan Koh Phangan is not only famous for its Full Moon Party but also for its many beautiful beaches that tourists may not have experienced. Because of this visit to Koh Phangan, I was enchanted by the islanders' way of life and really liked the beaches in the Choeng Mon area. After checking out of Mandalay, I went out to find a place to stay. I saw Wattana Resort and drove my mother there. Wow. The view is worth millions. It's so beautiful. Especially during the non-rainy season, I went to look at the bungalow room and saw a cat waiting to show me around. It really caught my eye. I decided to stay even though I personally don't like the cane room. But after staying for 1-5 days, Wow! The beauty in front of me, the blue sea, the green mountains, and the cats coming to stay every day Plus the peace and quiet, not crowded, I really like it, I'm happy and comfortable with the peace and quiet here. Until I chose to rent for 2 months at the price that the owner The Thai resort is very hospitable. Including the Burmese staff who are also friendly. The owner gave a discount to the monthly Thai price. If it is not the rainy season, the monsoon comes. Tong chose to stay for a few more months, but next time, it would be better to bring a TV.
